General Mills Just Brought 2 New Cereals to Walmart That Sound 'Wicked'
Hurry before they fly off shelves.
General Mills owns a variety of brands I use every day, including Häagen-Dazs, Old El Paso, Bisquick, and so many more. The company has the solution to a number of my frequent cravings, from macaroni and cheese to strawberry ice cream. No matter what food I'm looking for, General Mills seems to have it. Or so I thought.
I was happy with my bowl of Cheerios every morning with slices of strawberry on top, until I heard about two new cereals General Mills is releasing. Now, all I can think about are these brand-new flavors because they sound like pure magic.
For now, my bowl of Cheerios is on hold—I'll be following the yellow brick road all the way to the grocery store for these new cereals.
General Mills Releases 2 New Cereals Inspired by 'Wicked'
General Mills is defying gravity and introducing Wicked Cereals, two new breakfast cereals that are unlike any other. The collaboration comes a few months ahead of the release of the highly anticipated sequel, "Wicked: For Good," on Nov. 21. The cereals are inspired by the stars of the iconic musical, Glinda, the Good Witch of the South and Elphaba, the Wicked Witch of the West.
The Glinda-inspired cereal, Glinda Good Berry, features a bright pink corn puff cereal with strawberry flavoring, echoing Glinda's bubbly and sweet character. On the other hand, the cereal inspired by Elphaba, Elphaba Caramel Apple, features a corn cereal with caramel apple flavoring and a vibrant green coloring, mirroring the iconic "Wicked" character.
The two new cereals come during a year of iconic movie and food collaborations, from Dairy Queen and "Superman" to M&Ms and "Jurassic World: Rebirth" and TruMoo's new "Fantastic Four"-inspired milk.
And fans are just as excited to try the two new, movie-inspired cereals. Instagrammer @cereallife recently shared the good news of the products on their account, eliciting comments like, "NEEEDDD," and "These boxes are stunning!" Some might say the boxes are even prettier than the cereals inside.
Both "Wicked" cereals are available exclusively at Walmart, where you can buy two for $7 or two family-size boxes for $10.
But you might want to fly over to Walmart soon, as these fun flavors will only be available for a limited time. So, if you want to immerse yourself in the land of Oz in preparation for the new movie, grab a box—or two. I can't wait to buy my boxes so I can start my mornings with the feeling of "dancing through life."
