Drivers trapped in cars for hours in heat as festival goers descend on field

Drivers were left 'roasting' in the midday heat as a local rock festival caused major traffic jams. The Steel House Rock Festival took place over the weekend at the Hafod-y-Dafal Farm, Aberbeeg, Ebbw Vale. On Friday at around 12pm, Aberbeeg Road saw huge swarms of festival goers that blocked the road for other drivers. The traffic in the area was severely delayed for well over an hour. Many of which were festival goers who decided to crack open a 'cold one' whilst waiting for the traffic to die down. Eventually, traffic picked up pace and many people were able to break through after queuing for what seemed like an 'eternity.'
