Liam Dowling wins the ‘Potters' with Ballymac Cloon
Indeed, a purse of €4,000 was at stake in the final of the William 'Potters' Herlihy Memorial A3 525 Sweepstake, thanks to sponsorship provided by the Herlihy family, of Knocknagoshel, and none other than that remarkable Ballymacelligott handler, Liam Dowling, won it with his charge, Ballymac Cloon, which was joint 6/4 favourite with his kennelmate, Ballymac Caradoc.
