Natalbany man arrested, accused of raping child
NATALBANY, La. (WGNO) — A Natalbany man was arrested on July 29 in connection with a child rape investigation.
According to the Tangipahoa Parish Sheriff's Office, the 12-year-old victim reported that sexual abuse, allegedly perpetrated by 42-year-old Willie Jackson III, went back five years prior and occurred in at least two other states, as well as in Tangipahoa Parish.
Homicide investigation in Marigny after Thursday morning shooting
Following an investigation, a warrant was issued for Jackson's arrest and he remained wanted until Hammond Police reportedly learned he was possibly at a home in their jurisdiction.
Jackson was then taken into custody and booked on one count each of first-degree rape – victim under 13, first-degree rape and molestation of a juvenile and two counts of aggravated crimes against Posts
