Windsor half marathon brings runners together from both sides of Detroit River
The Windsor Waterfront Half Marathon and 5K, the first in Windsor, is quickly approaching.
Despite tensions between Canada and the United States, runners on both sides of the Detroit River aren't letting the trade war impact them.
On September 14, 2,000 runners will take part in the Windsor Waterfront Half Marathon and 5K, and 450 runners are American.
The first of its kind, the event has already raised $24,000 for Big Brothers and Big Sisters and Lupus Ontario.
