All weekend, check out the Woman's Health, Beauty and Bridal Show at Mohegan Sun with over three hundred exhibitors, a fashion show and a purse giveaway. 8 Things To Do This Weekend: Home & Garden Show, Wintertide and Maple Syrup Demo Check out Winter Weekend in Norfolk, featuring a series of town events like a wildlife walk, fly fishing workshops and a tour of the firehouse. Saturday, enjoy a sensory-friendly morning at the Slater Memorial Museum with dim lights, touch bins and a calm room. This is free and open to all ages. Arrive hungry to the annual Cabin Charity Chowder Cook-off on Saturday afternoon at Olde Mistick Village. Nearly 20,000 cups of chowder will be served. Center Stage Theatre is opening its 20th anniversary season with the oddball romantic comedy Guys and Dolls, playing now through March 2nd. Saturday evening, see The Moody Blues' John Lodge at The Shubert. The legendary bass player and vocalist will perform classic hits as well as some new work. Meet working dogs and see ice sculpture demos. All weekend, enjoy Ice in the Village. That's when Olde Mistick Village transforms into a winter wonderland with incredible ice sculptures on display. Saturday, take the kids to see Jack and the Beanstalk at the unique Ballard Institute and Museum of Puppetry with performer Jim Napolitano. Ladies: plan a special day with your girlfriends by booking a Galentine's Tea at the lovely Old Lyme Inn, offered on Saturdays in February.
