The Chrisleys are making their reality TV comeback. Savannah Chrisley confirmed that her parents Todd and Julie Chrisley are getting another reality show following their prison releases. 'The show is still filming and will continue to, though the family's situation is evolving rapidly,' a source told People on Wednesday. 'No one knew this pardon would happen and the goal is to cover their lives in real time, but things have significantly changed for them all and everyone in the family, as well as producers, are trying to figure it out and tell their authentic story.' On Tuesday, Trump, 78, announced he was pardoning the Chrisley parents after they were sentenced to prison for tax evasion and fraud in 2022. Federal prosecutors found them guilty of faking documents to obtain over $30 million in loans, and then dumping them by declaring bankruptcy. 10 President Donald Trump at the White House. Trump Advertisement Savannah Chrisley has been a vocal Trump supporter and endorsed his candidacy in a speech at the Republican National Convention last summer. Though she has complained that the case against her parents was politically motivated, they were indicted in 2019 under a Trump-appointed U.S. attorney, Byung J. 'BJay' Pak. Regardless, Savannah Chrisley said officials in the Trump administration who reviewed her parents' case had 'seen the corruption.' She told reporters that the president delivered the news of the pardons himself, calling unexpectedly while she was at the grocery store. 'I didn't have to do anything other than stand firm in my beliefs and my convictions and fight for my parents,' she said. She paused to take photos with fans and supporters gathered outside the prison before getting into a vehicle that took her past its security checkpoint. The Chrisleys' attorney, Alex Little, said Tuesday that the pardon 'corrects a deep injustice' in which the couple were 'targeted because of their conservative values and high profile.' Before she was pardoned, Julie Chrisley, 52, had been scheduled for release in January 2028, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons website, while Todd Chrisley, 56, was to remain behind bars until September 2032. Prosecutors said at trial that the Chrisleys had not yet become TV stars when they and a former business partner submitted false documents to banks in the Atlanta area to obtain fraudulent loans. New loans were taken out to pay off the old ones, according to prosecutors, until Todd Chrisley filed for bankruptcy, walking away from more than $20 million in unpaid loans. The defense argued that an IRS officer gave false testimony during the trial and that prosecutors lacked evidence to support convictions. Todd Chrisley released from prison after Trump pardons reality TV star

PENSACOLA, Fla. (AP) — Reality TV star Todd Chrisley was released Wednesday from federal prison after being pardoned by President Donald Trump, a spokesperson for his defense lawyer said. The 57-year-old Chrisley, best known for the TV series 'Chrisley Knows Best,' was freed from a minimum-security prison camp in Pensacola, Florida, where he was imprisoned after being convicted three years ago of bank fraud and tax evasion. His wife and TV co-star, 52-year-old Julie Chrisley, also was pardoned by Trump. It was not immediately known when she would be released from a prison facility in Lexington, Kentucky. THIS IS A BREAKING NEWS UPDATE. AP's earlier story follows below. PENSACOLA, Fla. (AP) — President Donald Trump signed pardons Wednesday for reality TV stars Julie and Todd Chrisley, who were been serving federal prison sentences after being convicted three years ago of bank fraud and tax evasion. Trump's pardons paved the way for the couple best known for the TV series 'Chrisley Knows Best' to be freed from prison. In the evening their daughter, Savannah Chrisley, stood outside the minimum security prison camp where her father was being held in Pensacola awaiting his release. She said her brother, Grayson, was picking up their mother in Lexington, Kentucky. 'We just want to get home. We want to be reunited,' she said, wearing a bubble gum pink MAGA hat and matching 'Women for Trump' jacket. Chrisley added: 'My parents have not spoken to each other, heard each others' voices or seen each other in the past 2 ½ years.' Prosecutors at the couple's 2022 trial said they spent lavishly on expensive cars, designer clothes, real estate and travel after taking out fraudulent bank loans worth millions of dollars and hiding their earnings from tax authorities. Trump announced his intention to pardon them on Tuesday, saying the celebrity couple had been 'given a pretty harsh treatment based on what I'm hearing.' It was another example of the president, himself a former reality TV star, pardoning high-profile friends, supporters, donors and former staffers. Jake Tapper admits to apologizing to Lara Trump over 2020 interview

"She saw something that I did not see at the time, 100 percent," Tapper said. Biden's mental acuity while in office continues to be a lightning rod despite Trump taking office again in January. The focus on the former president's health was reignited by the promotional tour for the book and inflamed again when it was announced that Biden has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. "You lectured her on how she was in no position to diagnose cognitive decline which you, which you guys do at length, including on page four of your book," Kelly said. What happened in 2020? Lara Trump had made disparaging remarks at a "Women for Trump" 2020 campaign event that were played by Tapper during the October 2020 edition of "State of the Union," saying, "Every time he comes on stage and they turn to him, I'm like, 'Joe, can you get it out. Let's get the words out.'" Tapper then asked, "how do you think it makes little kids with stutters feel when they see you make a comment like that?" Trump then responded that she did not know Biden had a stutter, which was a well-documented disability the then-presidential candidate has. "I think what we see on stage with Joe Biden, Jake, is very clearly a cognitive decline. That's what I'm referring to," Trump added. Tapper then shut down the interview, telling Trump, "I think you have absolutely no standing to diagnose somebody's cognitive decline." Tapper tell all takes heat Tapper, along with co-author Alex Thompson of Axios, has also faced criticism of the book from the center and left wings of political spectrum. Naomi Biden, the former president's granddaughter, called the book "political fairy smut for the permanent, professional chattering class," in an X post made Monday, May 19. Jon Stewart skewered the rollout of the book on the May 19 episode of the Daily Show, questioning why the authors held the information gathered for the book. "How (expletive) weird it is that the news is selling you a book about news they should've told you was news a year ago for free," Stewart said. Stewart also pointed out that the continued promotion of the book on CNN could be seen in poor taste. "It's just fun to watch them not only continue to push the book in light of this difficult news, but to actually frame this difficult news as perhaps even more of a reason to buy this book," Stewart said. Kieth Olbermann, the left-wing commentator and former MSNBC host, went further than his former cable rival on the May 19 edition of "Countdown with Keith Olbermann." "The car in which all of the Biden acuity truthers and reporters and book writers and finger-waggers and editors in Washington has just stopped suddenly." Olbermann said. "They have been ejected from vehicle from which they were climbing over each other to drive it faster and faster and you deserve it utterly, Tapper and Alex Thompson."
