Kathie Lee Gifford is more than happy she's gained a new baby granddaughter! After news broke that the former Today host's daughter Cassidy welcomed her second baby, a daughter named Rosie, with husband Ben Wierda, Gifford tells PEOPLE she's excited to have a new little girl in the family — especially since she's Gifford's first granddaughter. "I can't even believe I am saying the word 'girl' cause I got so used to 'boys,' and I love our boys, but this girl is gonna rule the roost. She is going to rule the whole world," she continues. They picked wisely. They're so in love and it makes me so happy," added the proud mom. Read the original article on People

The Byzantine Catholic Patriarchate's stance on Pope Leo XIV

New pope greets world from St Peter's Newly elected Pope Leo XIV, Robert Francis Prevost (L) gestures on the main central loggia balcony of the St Peter's Basilica, after the cardinals ended the conclave, in The Vatican, on May 8, 2025. Robert Francis Prevost was elected the first pope from the United States, the Vatican announced. A moderate who was close to Pope Francis and spent years as a missionary in Peru, he becomes the Catholic Church's 267th pontiff, taking the papal name Leo XIV. (Photo by Andrej ISAKOVIC / AFP) Image: AFP The Byzantine Catholic Patriarchate (BCP), a conservative Catholic group describes themselves as a community of monks, priests and bishops living in monasteries and exiled in the Czech Republic. The BCP is headed by Patriarch Elijah with two Secretary Bishops, Timothy and Methodius. The group said they arose from the need to defend the fundamental Christian truths against heresies and group was opposed to the previous Pope Francis (previously Jorge Mario Bergoglio), calling him an apostate and an heretic, saying he advocated for LGBTQ rights among others and is also against the election of the current Pope Leo XIV (previously cardinal Robert Prevost), believing that he will follow in his predecessor's footsteps by continuing his policies. Weekend Argus content manager Edwin Lombard sent the group a couple of questions on how they felt about new Pope Leo XIV. Bishop Timothy answered on behalf of the BCP Secretariat: Before we comment on the new successor of Francis Bergoglio, who took the name Leo XIV, it is necessary to realize the most fundamental questions, namely: What is the purpose of the papacy and of the Church? The purpose is to proclaim the Word of God, the truths of God, the teachings of Christ, to transmit the Spirit of Christ with the main goal: that souls may strive to live by faith, be rooted in Christ, and at the hour of death enter into the happy eternity that God has prepared for those who love Him and keep His commandments. The Byzantine Catholic Patriachate (BCP) said Pope Francis was a heretic for advocating for LGBTQ rights Image: Tiziana Fabi / AFP Another problem is that the pseudo-Pope Bergoglio completed the gradual process of apostasy and completely changed the nature of the Church and the papacy. By legalizing and even blessing one of the gravest sins, he made it publicly clear, without the slightest doubt, that whoever accepts his programme, that is, Bergoglio's programme, is diametrically opposed to Christ Himself. That is to say, such a person is an apostate who, if he continues on this path, will be eternally damned. Video Player is loading. Next Stay Close ✕ The greatest tragedy is that this mass apostasy, which culminated in the suicidal Fiducia supplicans [a 2023 declaration by the Dicastery for the Doctrine of the Faith, permits Catholic priests to bless couples in irregular situations, including same-sex couples, provided these blessings are not construed as legitimizing their status or mimicking the sacrament of marriage], is not even noticed by contemporary Catholics. It is also shocking that contemporary Catholics do not even perceive the clear manifestation of apostasy that was Bergoglio's public consecration to Satan in Canada (2022) under the guidance of a sorcerer. Nor have they noticed the profound apostasy of the gesture of participating in a pagan ceremony led by Amazonian witches and witchdoctors in the Vatican gardens and the enthronement of the Pachamama idol in the main basilica. It is a testimony to the total spiritual blindness, or spiritual schizophrenia, that gradually poisoned the Catholics after Vatican II, culminating in the public apostasy of the pseudo-Pope Bergoglio, accepted by the Episcopal Conferences of the various nations which thus entered into apostasy and excluded themselves from the Mystical Body of Christ. A screengrab of the newletter of the Byzantine Catholic Patriarchate (BCP) Image: Supplied The only solution is true repentance, i.e. calling heresy heresy and a heretic a heretic, renouncing the synodal LGBTQ way and returning to Christ's way of salvation. This is the only way to make sense of our Christian life, which points to death, God's judgement and eternity. 1. Do you think Pope Leo XIV will continue the liberal policies of the previous Pope? The Augustinian Prevost has already said that he will continue on the synodal path, that is, he will walk under the rainbow banner, and not under the banner of Christ, that is, not under the banner of the keys of Peter. He has chosen the way of apostasy, which is contrary to the way of Christ, the way of salvation. But he puts a label of pious phrases and mystical expressions on all this, like the pseudo-charismatic Bergoglio. This is precisely the mark of the spirit of Antichrist, that he pretends to be Christ, but in reality he is the spirit of Antichrist. 2. Will he be able to unite the different factions within the Catholic Church, those that agree with the liberal policies and those that want the Church to remain with its original teachings? Prevost has said that he will unite the Church. But the basis on which he stands will not be unity in the spirit of Christ, but globalization in the spirit of Antichrist. The instrument for this will be a professional lie, embellished with religious platitudes. In this, Jorge Bergoglio, the founder of the sodomite sect, is an unrivalled role model for him and for the whole Bergoglian sect. This Bergoglian sect has no right whatsoever to call itself the Catholic Church. 3. Do you believe that the new Pope will be more vocal on issues confronting the world, with regards to wars, peace, confrontation, hunger, climate change, etc? This invalid Pope will speak out on the issues confronting the world to the extent that he is driven to do so by spiritual unity with the anti-Christ system controlled by the Freemasons. And of course he will speak out on these issues in the same spirit. Much as Bergoglio did when he supported the Covid affair and genocidal vaccination, the fabricated climate crisis, the LGBTQ agenda, including gender reassignment, and the like. Prevost has made it abundantly clear that he has no intention of backing down from the suicidal agenda of the sect's founder. Prevost is an invalid Pope, and whoever submits to him and his programme is publicly opposing Christ and His Gospel and choosing the Antichrist and eternal hell. 4. What must the new Pope do to undo what you believed the previous Pope has done wrong? If a legitimate Pope were elected, he would have to annul heretical documents such as Fiducia supplicans, Ad Theologiam promovendam, etc. He would have to declare a posthumous excommunication on Bergoglio for his manifest heresies and bring to light his apostate gestures such as the enthronement of the Pachamama demon in the Vatican (2019) and the consecration to Satan in Canada (2022). He would also have to condemn the heresies and the spirit of Vatican II and point out its pernicious fruits. The spirit of Vatican II opened the door to Bergoglio's pseudo-pontificate and his legalization of one of the gravest sins for which God warns of the punishment of temporal and eternal fire (cf. 2Pet 2:6; Jude 7). 5. You called the previous Pope an invalid Pope and a pseudo Pope. On what was this based and do you think these labels will also apply to the current Pope? We called Bergoglio an invalid Pope according to the teachings of the Church. For proclaiming a sodomite anti-gospel in Fiducia supplicans, he brought upon himself God's anathema – a curse – according to Gal 1:8-9. He was a manifest heretic who had excommunicated himself from the Church and as such could not be the head of the Church according to the teaching of Scripture, the Church Fathers and the Doctors of the Church. This is confirmed by the dogmatic bull Cum Ex Apostolatus Officio, St Cyprian (lib. 4, epist. 2), St Athanasius (Ser. 2 cont. Arian.), St Augustine (lib. De grat. Christ. cap. 20), St Jerome (Dial. contra Lucifer), Bishop St Anthony of Florence, Bishop St Francis de Sales, Bishop St Alphonsus of Liguori, Cardinal St Robert Bellarmine and others. In accordance with Galatians 1:8-9 and the very essence of Sacred Scripture, Saint Cardinal Bellarmine and the Church Fathers express this reality: 'The Pope who is manifestly a heretic ceases by himself to be Pope and head, in the same way as he ceases to be a Christian and a member of the body of the Church.' As for Prevost, he has stated that he will continue on the synodal LGBTQ path, which is a rebellion against God and a path to eternal destruction that contradicts the very essence of the Gospel and therefore of Christianity. Thus he rejects the teachings of Scripture and Tradition, so under his leadership one cannot speak of the Catholic Church, but only of a Bergoglian sect. Because of this unity with a different, i.e. sodomite, anti-gospel, the same applies to Prevost as to Bergoglio: he is an invalid Pope, and moreover an invalidly elected one. He does not represent the Catholic Church, but is the representative and second antipope of the Bergoglian sect that occupies the Church.

Kathie Lee Gifford Says the 'Secret Is Finally Out' As she Reveals Happy Baby News

Television host Kathie Lee Gifford has something to celebrate. That's because the 71-year-old is getting another crack and being a grandmother after her son and daughter in law announced that they are expecting another baby. Related: Baby's Coos of Joy Over Great-Grandmother's Love Will Melt Any Heart The happy news was shared on Instagram, where Gifford's son Cody and his wife Erika revealed that they were expecting their third baby. The couple called their family a "party of cinco" to coincide with the fact that they were sharing the news on Cinco De Mayo. "Our little blessing on the way was prayed for, dreamed of, and is already so deeply loved," Gifford's daughter-in-law wrote in the post. "20 weeks in and we can't wait to meet the newest member of our crew." The excited grandma couldn't hold back, and she immediately commented on the post. "I am beyond filled with joy that this magnificent secret is finally out," she wrote. "So grateful to God for His faithfulness and loving kindness, and so thrilled that both of my children married beautiful spouses, and are incredible loving, tender and tough parents, just like I had." A photo of a cake was also shared, and the icing appeared to have a message that said "Baby #3 Loading" across the top of it. We're assuming this bubbe, the name that Gifford's three grandchildren lovingly call her, cannot wait to add another member to the family. In 2024, Gifford told People magazine how much she cherishes her family. "I'm just so grateful for them," she said at the time. "They're precious and they give me a purpose to get up every morning when everything else is just not the same for me. Life is just so different and I just try to find joy when I can find it. And the only place I can really find it is in the Word of God and in my grandsons." Congrats to the Giffords. We can't wait to follow along with this little one's life as soon as they arrive.
