2 New Drops From SpaceOne & Richard Mille x LeBron Totally Defy Gravity!
Calling all watch aficionados – two premium creations have just dropped, and they're everything! Ranging from a space-inspired timepiece that is out of this world, to a chronograph that's a must-have for any real Lakers fan – these two exclusive watches are what you need in your dragon's hoard. LeBron x Richard Mille Lakers Timepiece The limited-edition Richard Mille watch that LeBron James recently unveiled was one that he personally helped design. The watch displays the famous craftsmanship of Richard Mille, which is enhanced with athletic elegance and bold details. The bright yellow strap, made of TKM rubber for comfort and durability, is an homage to the Los Angeles Lakers. LeBron's signature logo appears at 12 o'clock on the dial, boldly green with a yellow border. A yellow Quartz TPT middle case with green accents and a unique purple hour marker ring contrast with the case's sleek black textured material. A yellow and green crown, teal chronograph dials, and James' signature engraved in purple on the case's back are additional design elements that combine luxury watchmaking with a sporty and personal touch. This exclusive timepiece is reportedly fetching US$450,000 (~RM1,900,803), with only 150 pieces available worldwide. Additional details will be released at a later date. For more information, visit Richard Mille's official website. SpaceOne WorldTimer With the introduction of the WorldTimer, a daring development in its space-inspired design philosophy, SpaceOne begins its third chapter. Following the success of the Jumping Hour and Tellurium models, returning designer Olivier Gamiette created the WorldTimer, a timepiece that combines space shuttle aesthetics with automotive design cues to accompany contemporary globetrotters. The WorldTimer deviates from conventional watchmaking conventions by using a system of rotating discs in place of traditional hands. A 12-hour disc at six o'clock, a central seconds disc, and a minutes disc at three o'clock are all part of the display architecture. Additionally, there are two coaxial discs at nine o'clock that show the time of day and the cities that correspond to it. A three-position crown that enables simple adjustments – manual winding, quick city disc setting, and synchronised 12H/24H time setting – accompanies this creative design. The watch is made of Grade 5 titanium, which was selected for its strength and light weight. It's finished with a variety of sandblasted, brushed, and polished textures that experiment with form and light. The watch's futuristic appearance is further enhanced by the sapphire dome that shields the hour disc, city disc, and 24-hour disc. The dependable Soprod P024 automatic movement, which runs at 28,800 vibrations per hour with a 38-hour power reserve, powers the WorldTimer. The brand's dedication to mechanical innovation is demonstrated by the in-house WorldTimer complication, which was created and put together in Paris. The SpaceOne WorldTimer can be purchased now for EU€2,700 (~RM13,449), with only 600 pieces in the first batch. To get your own, visit the brand's official website.
