3 hurt in Somerset crash on Highway 27
SOMERSET, Ky. (FOX 56) — Three people were injured on Thursday, and one of them was flown to a hospital for treatment after a crash in the area of Highway 27 and Parkers Mill. The Somerset Fire Department posted on Facebook that on Thursday, crews were dispatched to the intersection of Highway 27 and Parkers Mill Way in response to a two-vehicle crash that left passengers unable to get out. When fire crews got to the scene, they reportedly had to use emergency lifesaving equipment to rescue those who had been hurt in the crash and get them to safety. Churchill Downs officials said 147,406 people witnessed the 'most exciting two minutes in sports' on the first Saturday in May. Western Kentucky pair killed in crash, 2 others hurt after driver allegedly loses control on KY-185
BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (FOX 56) — Two people were killed, and two more were taken to the hospital with minor injuries after a crash on Friday on KY-185 in Bowling Green. Kentucky State Police (KSP) said in a news release that just after 6 p.m. on Friday, troopers were dispatched to the 8800 block of KY-185 in response to reports of a two-vehicle crash that may have left people trapped inside. 1 arrested, 1 dead following Newtown Pike shooting The initial investigation showed that Pamela Hayes, 62, of Caneyville, was driving in an orange Chevrolet Cobalt with her passenger, Ronald Hayes. They were heading south on KY-185 when she allegedly lost control of the Cobalt and collided with a blue 2018 Toyota 4Runner driven by Elizabeth Kemp, 36, of Bowling Green, who was headed north. Pamela and Ronald Hayes were both pronounced dead at the scene by the Warren County Coroner's Office, state police said. ‘Worst Tattoo Contest' underway in London: How to place your vote
LONDON, Ky. (FOX 56) — London residents have the opportunity on Derby Day to take part in an entirely different contest to see who has the worst tattoo. Brad Mallory, owner of Tried and True Tattoo in London, organized the contest nearly seven years ago. 2025 saw over 50 entries, compared to the last contest when there were nearly 40. 'You have the opportunity to pick one tattoo.' Voting for the contest began on Friday and will end at 8:30 p.m. Saturday, the contest organizers wrote. Above are just a few of the 52 entries submitted for the contest.
