The real reason Stone Cold Steve Austin rejected Logan Paul's bizarre £1million WrestleMania offer
The wrestling legend was bemused by the Youtube sensation's logic when wanting to make a splash on the biggest stage Stone Cold Steve Austin has revealed he was irritated by Logan Paul's mega money offer to dress the WWE legend up at WrestleMania 41. The Texas Rattlesnake made a glorious entrance at the Las Vegas showstopper on night two, where John Cena broke the record for the most world championships of all time. But Austin 3:16 did not enter the ring as a fighter, but to acknowledge his Hall of Fame induction for his match with Bret Hart for their match at WrestleMania 13 - the first match to be inducted. However, according to superstar YouTuber turned WWE wrestler Logan Paul, he had very different ideas for beer-swigging Stone Cold. Speaking in a recent episode of an Impaulsive podcast, Paul revealed that Austin declined his offer of $1 million to appear in a Prime bottle mascot costume. Prime is Logan Paul's energy drinks brand where he has also teamed up with the likes of KSI to make the product a global beverage powerhouse. Austin responded on The Ariel Helwani Show and was visibly surprised Paul disclosed the details in public. Austin stated: 'If he said that, I'm not going to call him a liar. I just thought it was personal business.' Explaining his rejection, Austin added: 'Since it's out there — yeah, I turned it down. 'I'm in the beer business. I don't know anything about his product, its ingredients, whether it's good or bad. It just wasn't my thing.' Back in 2015, Austin partnered with El Segundo Brewing and launched Broken Skull IPA, then in 2022 he collaborated with the brewery to release Broken Skull American Lager. Speaking about Logan Paul's Prime brand, Austin admitted to local media sources that the brand had done well and said of Paul: 'He's doing great, he's hustling, and I respect that.' Yet Austin also reiterated how the brand was not for him: 'It's not my gimmick' he implored and added: 'It just wasn't the right fit for Steve Austin.' The energy drink variant of Prime was the subject of an FDA investigation in 2023 after safety concerns were raised about its contents. The brand contains 200mg of caffeine per can – equal to the caffeine content of about two cans of Red Bull or six cans of Coke. Back in 2015, Austin partnered with El Segundo Brewing and launched Broken Skull IPA, then in 2022 he collaborated with the brewery to release Broken Skull American Lager. Logan Paul 'bothered' Stone Cold Steve Austin by revealing WWE legend turned down $1m WrestleMania offer
Stone Cold Steve Austin has revealed he was legitimately annoyed by Logan Paul revealing his $1million offer to dress up as a Prime bottle at WrestleMania. WWE is still on the back of its biggest show of the year, following a two-night event in Las Vegas last week that saw John Cena break the record for the most world championships of all time. Austin appeared at the show, but for only two reasons - one being to acknowledge his Hall of Fame induction for his match with Bret Hart for their match at WrestleMania 13 - the first match to be inducted. The second was to announce the attendance for the second night of the event, which saw him crash his ATV into a barrier on the way out. But he could have been involved in a different way. Logan Paul recently revealed he had offered the star a seven-figure sum to dress as a Prime bottle, but Austin turned it down. Speaking to Ariel Helwani, Austin confirmed the news, but suggested he thought it was personal business rather than something that was going to be public knowledge. Paul (pictured) offered Austin the seven-figure fee to dress as a Prime bottle at WrestleMania He continued: 'So since it's out there, yeah, I turned it down. I'm in the beer business. I sell Broken Skull Beer. And you know, we're in about 25 or 30 states. 'I don't know anything about his product. I don't know about the ingredients in it, if it's good, if it's bad, or whatever. So, you know, it just it wasn't my thing. So, you know, yeah, I turned it down just because I wasn't into it.' 'And that's no disrespect to him or his product. It's just not my gimmick, you know. Like I said, he's doing really well. Obviously he's hustling and he's going and getting it and more power to him. It just wasn't a great fit for Steve Austin.' WWE usually have a giant Prime bottle next to the ring during events, while other stars have dressed in the Prime bottle before for Paul's matches - including KSI and iShowSpeed. Paul faced AJ Styles at the event, coming out on top as he continues to impress officials in WWE. He has also enjoyed matches against the likes of Randy Orton, Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins since joining the company as a wrestler.

'Stone Cold' Steve Austin shut down Logan Paul's $1 million offer for WrestleMania: 'That's not my gimmick'
There's nothing quite like a "Stone Cold" Steve Austin appearance at WrestleMania. "The Texas Rattlesnake" made his presence felt on Night 2 of this year's annual spectacle event. Driving his ATV to the ring, Austin made an unplanned collision with the barricade, then read off the attendance count in Las Vegas' Allegiant Stadium and did his famous beer bash celebration. It was a small role in the two-night extravaganza, but could have been bigger, according to recent claims from Logan Paul. Advertisement Paul, who defeated AJ Styles the same night, stated on his "IMPAULSIVE" podcast that he pitched an idea for Austin to wear a Prime bottle costume ringside and reveal himself during the match. He claimed Austin rejected the idea, which Austin confirmed Wednesday when speaking on "The Ariel Helwani Show." "If he said that, I'm not going to call him a liar," Austin said. "I just thought that was kind of personal business, but since it's out there, yeah, I turned it down. I'm in the beer business, I sell Broken Skull Beer and we're in about 25 or 30 states. I don't know anything about his product. I don't know about the ingredients in it, if it's good, if it's bad or whatever. So, it just wasn't my thing, so yeah, I turned it down, just because I wasn't into it. And that's no disrespect to him or his product. "It's just — that's not my gimmick. Like I said, he's doing really well. Obviously he's hustling, he's going and getting it, and more power to him. It just wasn't a great fit for Steve Austin." Advertisement Had it not been for Austin's second induction into the WWE Hall of Fame as one-half of his famous match against Bret Hart at WrestleMania 13, the former WWE champion may not have appeared at the 2025 event at all. Instead, we saw the now-infamous ATV blunder, when Austin nearly hurled himself into the front row of the crowd after driving too fast around the ring. Thankfully, no one was hurt, but Austin is still unhappy with how his brief segment turned out. "[It was a] different throttles setup than what I'm normally used to," Austin explained. "Long story short, just a different throttle system, because I'm pretty damn handy on a four-wheeler. "I was embarrassed about it. I think everybody's OK, but I mean, you go out there on the biggest night in wrestling, and you end up like that, it's not the greatest day at the office. You go out there and you want to give people the best show that you can, and when you fall short of that, it's not great." Advertisement Regardless of the chaotic scene, the WWE universe was pleased as always to see the legendary "Stone Cold." Outside of rare instances, Austin hasn't been much of a fixture on WWE programming since his retirement 20 years ago. However, he did make one surprise return to action when he defeated Kevin Owens in WrestleMania 38's Night 1 main event three years ago. The wrestling business has changed significantly since Austin's heyday, and even newcomers like the aforementioned Paul peeling back the curtain is hard for him to deal with. Austin, 60, was at the height of his popularity throughout the "Attitude Era," when wrestling did it's best to blur the lines of fiction and reality. Ideally, that's how it should be, believes Austin. "Man, I'm still a little old school on that," Austin said of the art of kayfabe and WWE's new "WWE: Unreal" show. "I'm a big magic fan, but if Harry Houdini is still around, I don't want him to tell me how he does it. I want to figure out how he does it. And if I can't, then I'm going to keep wondering and I'm going to keep watching, but I'm going to keep wondering. So, don't tell me how he's doing it, but let me see if I can figure it out myself. I know it's not 'magic,' it's an illusion, but let me keep wondering about that illusion."
