Charlotte Flair Hints at Acquiring the Women's World Title After Naomi's Iconic Money in the Bank Cash-In at Evolution 2

Image via WWE Evolution 2 proved to be a banger, and it is safe to say that the company's decision to put Rhea Ripley vs. Iyo Sky last on the card paid off. For almost 25 minutes, the two veterans kept the high-paced action going with big moves piled up one after the other. Moreover, WWE has constantly pushed the storyline of Ripley never getting the better of Sky, and so 'Mami' was hellbent on destroying the Women's World Champion and slaying her for good. In the dying moments of the match, Sky accidentally missle drop-kicked the referee with Ripley scoring a visual pinfall. However, the carnage continued outside the ring, where Sky executed a beautiful cross-body. The duo returned to the ring, and with the referee once again in motion, Sky connected with the moonsault for a razor-close kickout. While the two wrestlers lay on the floor, Naomi entered the fray for vengeance! Charlotte Flair Shares Naomi Holding the World Title on X The Women's Money in the Bank contract winner ran to the ring to capitalise and immediately hit Sky with her finishing move to win the gold. And it seems that the veteran members of the locker room have taken notice. Among the first to subtly congratulate Naomi on her victory was Charlotte Flair. The 14-time Women's Champion took to her X account to post Naomi's picture holding her newly won Women's World title. However, it could also mean that Naomi is next on The Queen's hit list, as she has been looking to win her 15th title for a long time. Despite losing to Jade Cargill earlier in the night in a No Holds Barred bout, Naomi took advantage to claim the belt for herself. by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like American Investor Warren Buffett Recommends: 5 Books For Turning Your Life Around Blinkist: Warren Buffett's Reading List Undo Many fans were bummed to see the new World Champion taking a second consecutive loss to Cargill this year. However, what followed in the main event was comparable to the ending of WrestleMania 31 when Seth Rollins cashed in his briefcase to beat Brock Lesnar and Roman Reigns. In the same way, Naomi also capitalized by making a singles contest a triple threat and pinning the champ to etch her name in the history books. Naomi has consistently been the workhorse of the women's division, and fans are certainly delighted to witness the veteran win her 3rd Women's title in the WWE. For the unversed, Naomi turned heel earlier this year in February and was revealed to be the one who attacked Cargill. And with the switch, she brought in a new wave of emotion to her character, and although she lost at WrestleMania 41, her push for the Money in the Bank win was built strongly. Now heading into SummerSlam, it will be interesting to see her feud with both Ripley and Sky for the gold. WWE Night of Champions 2025 Live Updates: John Cena, CM Punk all set to turn back clock in an epic main event

WWE Night of Champions 2025: Follow Latest Updates. WWE Night of Champions 2025 Live Updates: The Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is all set to host an extravagant WWE night where John Cena will take on CM Punk in the World Championship title match. The legendary wrestlers, who shared a fierce in-ring rivalry over a decade ago during CM Punk's initial run in WWE, are set to reignite that intensity once again. As they gear up for their showdown in Riyadh, fans will witness the two icons step back into the ring, determined to assert their dominance and settle the score. ...Read More Cena is currently on his farewell tour carrying the WWE Championship belt, which he won at WrestleMania 31 after beating Cody Rhodes. Meanwhile, it will be the first time when Punk will fight for the title against Cena since his return to the WWE. It is highly unlikely for Cena to lose the battle at this stage on his farewell tour, but Cena vs Punk has always delivered unpredictable and box-office results. Meanwhile, Randy Orton will also be in action as he takes on his good friend and mentee Cody Rhodes in the King of the Ring final. The two top wrestlers remain the baby faces in the company, and the result of this fight might change it after Night of Champions. In the women's final, Asuka is slated to face Jade Cargill in a highly anticipated clash, with several intriguing possibilities for how the match — and the subsequent title storyline — could unfold. Saturday's card will feature a deeply personal clash as tensions within The Bloodline erupt into a full-blown family war. United States Champion Jacob Fatu is set to defend his title against Solo Sikoa in what promises to be an emotionally charged battle. The rift between the two has been brewing for weeks, with Fatu growing increasingly frustrated with Sikoa's underhanded tactics and growing ego. Sikoa, in turn, has been mocking Fatu behind his back, sowing discord within the faction. The animosity reached its peak at Money in the Bank, where Fatu shockingly cost Sikoa a shot at the briefcase, sparking a brutal backstage altercation that made it clear this was no longer just about pride—it was personal. Now, with the United States Championship on the line, the former allies will step inside the ring not just to settle a score, but to determine who truly deserves to lead their legacy forward. "I'm just trying to reclaim myself" - Ronda Rousey shares what's next in her wrestling journey

Ronda Rousey (Image via WWE) Ronda Rousey has been missing from WWE for months, and fans can not help but wonder, will she ever come back? Known for her fierce presence in both UFC and WWE, Rousey was a star to step into a wrestling ring. But after her last match, she quietly took a backstep, leaving fans guessing about her future . Now, after finally speaking up in a podcast, it seems her life has taken a new direction, one that has nothing to do with the ring. Many people thought that with WWE's leadership changing, Ronda might return. Triple H and Nick Khan have taken over from Vince McMahon , and the company now has a different energy. Still, her recent words suggest she is not thinking about wrestling at all right now. Ronda Rousey speaks her truth about life now On the UNTAPPED podcast, Ronda Rousey gave fans a rare look into her life today. She did not talk about championship dreams or future matches. Instead, she shared something much more personal, her journey through motherhood and what it's like to find herself again after becoming a mom. 'I am, like, deep in mom mode. I am not in the studio, you know. I'm working out in my garage, and I'm just trying to reclaim my body from motherhood.' She went deeper into how that change has affected her: 'I'm just, you know, just trying to reclaim myself from—you know—this amazing thing that women's bodies are designed to do. But it really does just like take you over entirely… you're left with what's left over, you're like, 'Oh my god, will I ever be the same again?' Or… the answer is no. But you could—you could be a new something.' Ronda Rousey On What Made Her UNSTOPPABLE, Dana White & Why I Retired Her words felt honest and emotional. They did not sound like someone planning a comeback. Ronda did not say the word 'retirement,' but it's clear she is enjoying this quieter, more personal phase of her life. For now, wrestling is not part of her daily world. A legacy that still echoes in WWE Even though Ronda Rousey has not been in WWE for a while, her impact is still felt. She first shocked fans at WrestleMania 31 in a surprise moment with The Rock . Her official debut came later in 2018 at the Royal Rumble, and from there, she rose fast. That same year at SummerSlam, she defeated Alexa Bliss to win the RAW Women's Championship. FULL MATCH: Liv Morgan vs. Ronda Rousey — SmackDown Women's Championship Match: SummerSlam 2022 Ronda also won the SmackDown Women's Title and the Women's Tag Team Titles. Her final match was against Shayna Baszler at SummerSlam 2023. Not long after, she posted on Instagram, suggesting she had quietly left wrestling. Whether she returns or not, Ronda Rousey has already made her mark. Right now, she's on a different journey, and that seems just right for her. Also Read: Deadman behind the desk? WWE Has Discussed Adding New Members To Fan-Favorite Faction: Report

Based on facts, either observed and verified firsthand by the reporter, or reported and verified from knowledgeable sources. Newsweek AI is in beta. Translations may contain inaccuracies—please refer to the original content. A new report suggests that the dominant WWE faction led by Seth Rollins, Bron Breakker, and Paul Heyman could be expanding. The group recently added powerhouse Bronson Reed to its ranks. According to two more notable names have been internally pitched to join the group. Current NXT star Ethan Page and recent free agent Ricky Starks are reportedly being considered. A History Of Ricky Starks Ricky Starks is one of the most prominent free agents in professional wrestling today. He has never had a formal run under a main WWE contract. Starks first rose to prominence in the National Wrestling Alliance (NWA), where he became the inaugural NWA World Television Champion. He then joined All Elite Wrestling, where his charisma made him a breakout star. In AEW, Starks was a former FTW Champion and the winner of the 2023 Owen Hart Foundation Men's Tournament. He became a free agent in early 2025 after his AEW contract expired. LAS VEGAS, NEVADA - APRIL 19: Seth Rollins flips off the ropes while wrestling Roman Reigns Triple Threat match during WrestleMania 41 at Allegiant Stadium on April 19, 2025 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Page spent several years in AEW before his contract expired at the end of 2024. He made his surprise debut for WWE on the NXT brand in early 2025. He has since become a featured star on the Tuesday night show. His potential call-up to join the Raw faction would be a rapid ascent to the main roster. These internal discussions suggest WWE sees the new faction as a major project. The potential addition of two accomplished stars like Starks and Page would make the group an even more formidable force. Rollins' WWE career has been defined by the factions he has both led and destroyed. He debuted as the "Architect" of The Shield alongside Roman Reigns and Dean Ambrose, orchestrating their dominance before infamously betraying them to join The Authority. As Triple H's chosen "Future of WWE," this alliance propelled him to his first WWE Championship in the "Heist of the Century" at WrestleMania 31. Years later, he transformed into the cult-like "Monday Night Messiah," leading a faction of disciples that included Murphy and AOP to enforce his vision on Monday Night Raw. "They're gonna do everything they can": WWE legend sees Seth Rollins as future face of company following a historic triumph

WWE legend sees Seth Rollins as future face of company following a historic triumph (Image Source: Getty) WWE fans are on the edge of their seats looking for the latest news regarding the future of Seth "Freakin'" Rollins after his historic win at the Money in the Bank Premium Live Event that took place on June 7, 2025. And now a lot wonder if that latest victory proves he's ready to be "the face of WWE" after all. Even hardcore wrestling legend Matt Hardy dropped his two cents on WWE's apparent strategy, with a statement suggesting the company is all in on the Visionary, which only added fuel to this fire. The Architect's historic triumph and new trajectory Cliche as it is, anything for the cookie crumbles, though, and Seth Rollins won his second Men's Money in the Bank briefcase, and that is something that does indeed put you in a league of your own amongst WWE Superstars. His first cash-in at WrestleMania 31 is one of the biggest moments in WWE history, and now, fans are ready to find out how he will cash in such an opportunity. With his constantly evolving character and in-ring style, Rollins has entertained fans with his unique mixture of athleticism, charisma, and pure skill, so this win is right on time. Speculation had arisen that the Money in the Bank match could serve its purpose of launching a younger, emerging star into the title picture. WWE giving the briefcase back to Rollins, though, shows where the company wants to head. As Matt Hardy recently stated, "The Seth Rollins thing is fine. I like the fact that, you know, we thought it was a red herring. I thought it was too. I thought they would use this to elevate someone else. But they, they really have all of their momentum behind Seth Rollins right now, and they're gonna do everything they can to make Seth Rollins the guy.' The path to becoming the face of WWE Matt Hardy's comments reiterate WWE's switch when it comes to their focus on Rollins as the face of the company. The "face of WWE" position has been a fiercely fought battle for years, with an unstoppable force usually holding onto the mantle of face of the brand. Also Read: Becky Lynch and Seth Rollins achieve rare WWE championship feat This is all very serious and heelish behavior from Rollins, who has, of course, turned heel on the first night of WrestleMania 41 and been put into one of the most threatening new factions (along with Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, seemingly working under Paul Heyman). This new direction, in addition to his Money in the Bank leverage, creates plenty of avenues for WWE to cement him at the top.
