WWE Money in the Bank 2025 predictions: 3 blockbuster matches that can be added

Image via WWE WWE Money in the Bank can see the addition of top blockbuster matches this year. WWE will look forward to its next Premium Live Event after Saturday Night's Main Event next week. It will be the highly captivating Money in the Bank PLE, taking place on Saturday, June 7th, at the Intuit Dome, in Los Angeles, California. Much like every year, the event will feature two name-sake ladder matches for the coveted Money in the Bank briefcase for the men's and women's divisions. However, the recent developments and speculations surrounding the event might have hinted at marquee matches being added to the card. Here are the three showdowns that can happen at the 2025 WWE Money in the Bank: 3. John Cena & Travis Scott vs Cody Rhodes & mystery partner — WrestleOps (@WrestleOps) by Taboola by Taboola Sponsored Links Sponsored Links Promoted Links Promoted Links You May Like Here's What Solar Batteries In Nekemte Might Cost You In 2024 - Check Prices Solar Battery | Search ads Click Here Undo Cody Rhodes' impressive reign as the Undisputed WWE Champion came to an end in the main event of WrestleMania 41 Night 2. It was the devilish scheming of John Cena and his new ally, Travis Scott, that led to Cena dethroning Rhodes and claiming his 17th WWE title in the process. Moreover, there have been rumors that Cena and Scott might team up for a tag team match as early as the Money in the Bank event, and Scott is also training under WWE Hall of Famer Booker T. Should this happen, The American Nightmare can return to exact payback on both of his foes and bring a celebrity like Metro Boomin or even Bad Bunny to battle alongside him. 2. Roman Reigns & CM Punk vs Seth Rollins & Bron Breakker CM Punk is currently feuding with his arch-nemesis, Seth Rollins, and his new faction members, Paul Heyman and Bron Breakker. However, at one point in this feud, Punk could be outnumbered with all of his allies taken out by them. This could pave the way for the return of Roman Reigns, who was taken out by Rollins and Breakker on the RAW after WrestleMania 41. This could set the tone for this explosive tag team match between the two sides at the Money in the Bank PLE. 1. John Cena vs CM Punk Another major showdown that has been rumored to take place at the Money in the Bank event is CM Punk vs John Cena. Although WWE creatives are reportedly keen on doing the match, at a later date, the real money and the fans' desire is to see this iconic match at the event. Moreover, it was fifteen years ago that their WWE title match at Chicago took place at Money in the Bank, which was one of the greatest matches of all time, and WWE could run it back for one last time between Punk and Cena. John Cena vs CM Punk at WWE Money in the Bank 2025? Exploring the chances!

and CM Punk might have one final encounter in the ring on Cena's farewell tour at the upcoming PLE. John Cena has built a career based on Hustle, Loyalty, and Respect that led him to become a flagship star of WWE. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now In that spectacular journey, the 17-time WWE Champion had many top rivals in his career. One of those illustrious names was CM Punk. The Best in the World rose to the main event scene during his feud with Cena in 2011 and went on to have an incredible rivalry with The Champ. In light of recent events, the time might be approaching when the WWE Universe could witness them collide one last time in the ring before Cena calls it quits at the end of the year. Can John Cena and CM Punk collide at WWE Money in the Bank 2025? John Cena shocked the fans and turned heel at the end of the 2025 WWE Elimination Chamber PLE. He then defeated Cody Rhodes in the main event of WrestleMania 41 Night 2 to win his record-setting 17th WWE title. He recently had one last showdown with another one of his historic rivals, Randy Orton, at WWE Backlash. Following a chaotic main event, Cena yet again used underhanded tactics like he did at WrestleMania 41 to retain his Undisputed WWE Championship. While the Last Real Champion walked with the gold still around his waist, his win attracted the attention of his other iconic rival, CM Punk. The Best in the World dropped a photo of Cena's shot with the belt after Backlash win, with the text stating that he is still the champion. Punk wrote, "For now," sparking a huge debate about whether he could be next in line to face him. Should that be the next scenario that WWE has planned, their next Premium Live Event in June 2025, Money in the Bank, can be the perfect stage. Tired of too many ads? go ad free now Cena and Punk have a historic past at the event. In 2011, Money in the Bank took place in Punk's hometown of Chicago, Illinois. He challenged Cena for the WWE title in one of the greatest in-ring showdowns of all time. The ending was even memorable as Punk defeated Cena, took the WWE title, and fled from the crowd, not before blowing a kiss to McMahon as his contract ended that night. Interestingly, Cena announced his farewell tour last year at Money in the Bank PLE and even got snapped with Punk following the announcement. With CM Punk dropping a major hint and their past related to the event, it will be interesting to see Cena and Punk collide at the show this year, which would be nothing short of a blockbuster. She said, 'That was most of our ambition,' Lynch said, referring to the Four Horsewomen's drive to dominate WWE. 'Bayley just wanted to be liked as much as possible. The Man got some measure of revenge on Bayley in recent memory. One night before WrestleMania 41 Night 2, Bayley was found attacked in the backstage area. Shocking! 14 time WWE World Champion officially declared a war against John Cena

Image via WWE John Cena came to RAW after WrestleMania 41 to rub it in the face of the fans, but instead fell victim to a surprise attack by a 14-time World Champion. The ending of WrestleMania 41 Night 2 saw a history-making moment as John Cena channeled his inner demon to dethrone Cody Rhodes and become the new Undisputed WWE Champion. However, as he finished his address on the RAW after WrestleMania 41, an iconic rival from his past showed up and made a statement at the expense of the 'Last Real Champion.' John Cena's 17th World Championship address did not end well The RAW after WrestleMania 41 opened with the record-breaking and new Undisputed WWE Champion, John Cena. Cena walked to the ring with much arrogance and was not happy with his introduction. He forced the ring announcer, Mark Shunock, to give him a better introduction. Cena then began his first address as the champion and had a lot to say to the fans. John Cena bragged about how he played the fans and berated them for being heartless. He mentioned how Cody Rhodes was their only hope, but instead, they turned on him. Rhodes was dominated and defeated by John Cena. Cena took this opportunity to take a shot at them and claimed that a functional relationship did not work that way. Furthermore, the 17-time WWE Champion counted down his appearances so far, which came down to 27, following which Cena said that he would be gone. Not only that, Cena planned to take the WWE championship that had been held by legends, like Triple H, Shawn Michaels, Bruno Sammartino, Roman Reigns and many others. However, in the final moments of Cena's address, 14-time WWE Randy Orton appeared and delivered an RKO outtanowhere to the Last Real Champion. WWE's Apex Predator gained a loud pop and stood tall over the fallen champion, holding the Undisputed WWE title high above his head. John Cena and Randy Orton had one of the most historic rivalries in the global juggernaut. With WrestleMania season over and a brand new one ushered in, it seems WWE Universe might be in store to see the iconic foes battle it out one last time.
