Alberto Del Rio Attacks Production Crew On Mexican TV Show

Alberto Del Rio continues to find himself in the headlines ahead of his AAA Mega Championship defense this weekend against El Hijo del Vikingo. This week on Venga La Alegria, a talk show that airs in Mexico, an angle for this weekend's AAA match between Alberto Del Rio (El Patron) and El Hijo del Vikingo took place. In a fit of rage, Del Rio attacked Vikingo's father and multiple members of the show's production crew. Advertisement While some online had reported this as a shoot, this was 100% scripted and meant to build interest in his title defense against Vikingo this weekend. You can check out a video of the incident in the embedded post below: WWE has already spoiled the result of Del Rio's match this weekend While Alberto Del Rio's title defense hasn't happened yet, WWE has already spoiled the result. Monday night during RAW, WWE advertised that the match between El Hijo del Vikingo and Chad Gable at Worlds Collide will be for the AAA Mega Championship. This goes a long way in showing WWE's lack of interest in working with Del Rio following their acquisition of AAA. Anita Vaughan Reflects On Will Ospreay's Pedigree on ‘Triple H' Going Viral

Once upon a time in the Multiverse Rumble, Will Ospreay nailed Triple H Anita Vaughan with the Pedigree. Luckily, Vaughan has lived to tell the tale with WrestleZone. On February 7, Pro-Wrestling EVE hosted its Multiverse Rumble event from London, England, with over a dozen competitors in the rumble match. For this particular bout, competitors dressed up as and paid homage to figures in both wrestling and pop culture. In Vaughan's case, she parodied WWE Hall of Famer Paul 'Triple H' Levesque, fake beard and all. This decision later came back to haunt Vaughan, however, as EVE producer and AEW star Will Ospreay flipped the bird and laid her out with a Pedigree, Triple H's iconic finishing move. Advertisement Clips of this scene have since gone viral across social media, revealing that Ospreay suffered instant karma by being eliminated by Rayne Leverkusen, dressed as Shane McMahon, right after. 'That spot was a lot of fun,' Vaughan told WrestleZone. 'The Multiverse Rumble is just that, it's just meant to be fun. Will obviously helps producing the shows and he plays such a big part. It's unbelievable to have someone like Will Ospreay backstage and helping out and everything he does with Eve as well, how he platforms it, how he supports it. Of course, he gets to be a part of the product as well in sometimes the most fun ways I've ever been involved in wrestling.' Vaughan Explains Pedigree Backstory How did this spot come together? According to Vaughan, who now reigns as the EVE International Champion, they planted the seeds for it a while ago. Advertisement 'Before [my tag partner] Debbie Keitel went to Japan, I remember we had [an idea of] like 'Oh maybe we can do DX or something.' She could be Shawn Michaels. I could be Triple H. I was like 'That would be really sick.' Then I just couldn't get it out of my head that I could be Triple H. I've done jokes and stuff with people backstage where like I'm Triple H. We'll do like the water take and stuff. It almost was a private joke coming into real life in the ring. Then you just add the layer of Will Ospreay hitting Triple H a pedigree. It was really sick. 'I've never hit so many Triple H moves in my life in that time,' Vaughan added. 'I found out I can do a decent spine buster, so now it's part of my moveset. I hit many a pedigree and I took my first ever pedigree from Will Ospreay, so that's a part of history now. Nic Nemeth Reveals The Surprising Response Vince McMahon Had After His WWE World Title Win

Nic Nemeth revealed that Vince McMahon told him he would lose again after winning the WWE World champion. In 2013, on the WWE RAW episode following WrestleMania 29, Ziggler cashed in his Money in the Bank contract on Alberto Del Rio, creating one of WWE's most memorable moments. The crowd erupted with the loudest ovation of the night as he captured the World Heavyweight Championship. During an appearance on LiMPiN AiNT EASY w/ Timmy Baltimore, Nic Nemeth explained that multiple bosses, including Vince McMahon, told him he would never become World Champion. 'I was told I'd never be world champion to my face by every boss that there is, and then became world champion. I was told that I wouldn't win Money in the Bank, and even when we're down to it, they said it'll be you or Cody, and that was the night before.' Advertisement 'And then the day of, Jamie Noble's helping us out. He's like, 'They might switch it while you're out there, I don't know.' I go, 'Go f**king head, I'm climbing that ladder. Even then, once I got the briefcase. The boss goes, 'You're going to lose even more now, but it's going to mean so much more when you cash in.' 'All this bulls**t ends, and you become our guy.' I was like, Whoa. okay, cashed in, greatest freaking moment, came to the back. I thanked everybody and Vince. And then Michael Hayes goes, 'Hey, go tell him thank you.' I'm like, 'I did.' He goes, 'Do it again.' Vince McMahon told Nic Nemeth he would lose WWE World Title in few months 'Sir, thank you for this opportunity. I hope you heard that crowd. I'm here to do whatever the hell you want. I'm going to be your guy one way or another.' And it's something along the lines of, 'Yeah, you're just holding it for another month or two until we get Del Rio some sympathy, and then, uh, he's going to take it back.' And I went, 'Well,' I go, 'It looks like I got two months to prove you wrong, boss.' And he went, 'Okay,' and then put his headset back on.' There are some similarities between the two, but their personalities are very different. Despite that contrast, Saints said their dynamic brings out the best in each other. 'Polar opposites attract, of course, and I'm no stranger to Ethan. We have met before on the indies and other places, things of that nature, so I think having that chemistry only creates the best types of matches and outcomes,' Ricky Saints said.
