Jacksonville Jaguars' free agent addition continues to impress Liam Coen
Jacksonville Jaguars' free agent addition continues to impress Liam Coen Jacksonville Jaguars' wide receiver Dyami Brown continues to impress head coach Liam Coen during OTA practices. Following the Jacksonville Jaguars' first OTA practice last Monday, wide receiver Dyami Brown was one of the players who caught the attention of head coach Liam Coen. Now, over a week later and four practices in, Brown continues to impress Coen. "He's been great, man," Coen said on Tuesday of Brown. "He's made a lot of plays. He's been really productive throughout this whole camp so far. Showing versatility to maybe do some things that he hadn't put on tape in the past or wasn't asked to do from his skill set standpoint. I thought obviously very productive towards the halfway point of last year, into the playoffs, and then you see that confidence continuing to grow throughout this camp and this offseason." The Jaguars signed Brown to a one-year, $10 million deal during free agency. On paper, his overall production throughout his time in Washington isn't going to leap off the page. His most productive regular season as a pass-catcher came in 2024 when he totaled 308 receiving yards. However, as GM James Gladstone described after the addition, the Jaguars see an ascending player in Brown, who totaled 229 yards during Washington's playoff run last season, and someone who can take another step with the opportunities he can earn in Jacksonville. Brown adds another vertical presence to the Jaguars' offense, which will help free up Brian Thomas Jr. to impact other levels of the field more often. With Brown's speed, he can also get the ball on shorter area throws in space and create chunk plays with his YAC ability. "He's been doing a nice job of being able to run vertically but also being the nuanced route runner with some of the daggers and in-cuts and things like that," Coen added. "He's been very locked in this entire time. I've been very impressed with the pro that he is." Of course, the caveat here is that it is still early and the pads aren't on, but Brown is off to a quick start, and that is noteworthy.

Jacksonville Jaguars' 2025 UDFA profile: Elon WR Chandler Brayboy
In addition to their nine draft picks, the Jacksonville Jaguars signed 22 undrafted rookies as well, following the 2025 NFL draft. Just as we did with each of the nine selections, let's take a closer look at each of the Jaguars' UDFAs. Up next is wide receiver Chandler Brayboy from Elon. Chandler Brayboy profile Height: 6-002 Weight: 205 40 time: 4.47 College profile What to know about the Jaguars' UDFA signing Brayboy spent six seasons at Elon, and over the last four, he's been a big part of the passing game. He finished his career catching 62% of his 262 targets and averaged an impressive 16.3 yards per catch with 19 touchdowns. Advertisement Throughout his career, Brayboy has ample experience playing both out wide and in the slot. This includes spending most of his snaps outside in 2021 and 2022 before primarily lining up in the slot the last two seasons. The 2024 season specifically was a career year for Brayboy, who had 90 targets, totaled 979 yards, and scored eight touchdowns. Among eligible wideouts at the FCS level, Brayboy was one of the best at picking up YAC, ranking 12th in that category, averaging 7.4 yards after the catch, per PFF. Along with his contributions on offense, Brayboy was a kick returner as well. This included averaging almost 36 yards per return this past year with two touchdowns. Chandler Brayboy's scouting report Lance Zierlein: "Brayboy's athletic traits warrant a peek at the tape. He has good top-end speed and really impresses with his ability to separate from coverage. However, his ball skills fall well below NFL standards with spotty ball-tracking and inconsistent hands. He's fearless and fast in a straight line, though. His potential as a kick returner will need to be his entry point toward getting a chance in the NFL." Very early look at Jacksonville Jaguars' 2026 unrestricted free agents after NFL draft
Very early look at Jacksonville Jaguars' 2026 unrestricted free agents after NFL draft With the 2025 NFL draft behind us, let's take a very early look ahead to who the Jacksonville Jaguars' unrestricted free agents are in 2026. With the 2025 NFL draft behind us and the Jacksonville Jaguars' roster largely set for the upcoming season, let's take a way-too-early look ahead to who the team's upcoming free agents are in 2026. In one offseason with James Gladstone as the GM, we've already seen quite a bit of roster turnover in Jacksonville. Christian Kirk was traded, while Evan Engram and a few others were released. None of the Jaguars' unrestricted free agents were re-signed this offseason, while Gladstone made 10 outside signings, along with adding nine more players through the draft. While Year 2 under new leadership typically isn't going to have the same amount of turnover as Year 1, the roster reshaping process is still taking place at that point, with the new GM building the roster out as he sees fit. Ultimately, how these soon-to-be free agents perform in 2025 will carry the most weight when it comes to whether or not they return, but the vision that Gladstone has cast for the organization will play a factor as well. The Jaguars' 2026 free agent class is headlined by Devin Lloyd, Travis Etienne, Logan Cooke, and Dyami Brown. With help from Over the Cap, here are the Jaguars' unrestricted free agents for the 2026 offseason. LB Devin Lloyd The Jaguars chose not to exercise Lloyd's fifth-year option for the 2026 season, making him a free agent next offseason. Lloyd finished the 2024 season as one of the more efficient tacklers at the linebacker position, along with being one of PFF's highest-graded run defenders as well. There may not be many players who benefit more from the addition of Anthony Campanile as the defensive coordinator than Lloyd, given his background working with linebackers and malleable scheme that can maximize Lloyd's versatility. RB Travis Etienne Etienne is entering the final year of his rookie deal. After eclipsing 1,000 yards in each of his first two seasons, he totaled just 558 yards at 3.7 yards per rush in 2024. With Tank Bigsby still under contract in 2026 and the Jaguars adding two running backs in this year's draft, the writing may already be on the wall for Etienne. WR Dyami Brown Brown hasn't had an immense amount of production in his career, but he's coming off an impressive postseason performance, where he eclipsed 200 receiving yards over Washington's three games. The Jaguars see Brown as an ascending player, and his vertical presence, along with his YAC ability, is a skill set that could flourish in Liam Coen's system. Brown signed a one-year, $10 million deal as a free agent. P Logan Cooke Cooke has been with the Jaguars since 2018 and made his first Pro Bowl last season. He was also a second-team All-Pro last season as well. Other Jacksonville Jaguars 2026 unrestricted free agents

Report: Jaguars have had 'a lot' of contact with Illinois WR Pat Bryant
The Jacksonville Jaguars have had "a lot" of contact with Illinois wide receiver Pat Bryant during this pre-draft process. While appearing on 1010XL's 'Helmets & Heels,' Bryant mentioned that the Jaguars were a team he's had "a lot" of contact with compared to other teams. This includes conversations at the Senior Bowl, the NFL combine, multiple Zoom meetings, and the Jaguars have been in contact with Bryant's high school coaches. Measuring in at 6-2 - 204 pounds, Bryant fits that bigger-bodied wide receiver mold that Albert Breer mentioned the Jaguars could be looking for. He recorded a Relative Athletic Score of 7.08, which included a 37.5-inch vertical, 10-04 feet on the broad jump, and a 4.61-second 40. Advertisement Bryant had been a key figure in the Illinois offense for the last three seasons, which included 197 targets during that span. The 2024 season was a career year for him with 984 receiving yards at a whopping 18.2 yards per catch and 10 touchdowns. Bryant primarily lined up out wide, but he does have slot experience as well, and that is something that will be important when it comes to playing receiver in Liam Coen's offense. Contributing to Bryant's impressive yards per reception figure was that he was extremely effective with the ball in his hands, picking up YAC. Lance Zierlein has Bryant with a sixth-round projection and had this to say about him in his scouting report: "Bryant has good size but lacks suddenness and pure vertical gas. What he lacks in explosiveness he makes up for with intelligent releases, physicality inside the route and elite ball skills. Bryant has average play strength but musters it all when competing for the catch. His body control and focus put him in position to win fade routes but his high-point talent often seals the deal. The ball skills are superior, but he needs to prove he can find ways to uncover against NFL press coverage to become more than a downfield target with backup value." Advertisement The receiver position will be one of the larger needs that the Jaguars will have to address in the draft, as they look to not only bolster their depth, but ideally add some competition on the depth chart behind Brian Thomas Jr. This article originally appeared on Jaguars Wire: 2025 NFL draft: Jaguars 'a lot' of contact with Illinois WR Pat Bryant
