Price range of Tesla cars in India
According to a CNBC report, Tesla's Chief Financial Officer, Vaibhav Taneja, stated that a "70 per cent tariff on EV imports and about 30 per cent luxury tax" are also included in the price components in India.
Experts predict that rather than competing with regional EV manufacturers, Tesla will face off against luxury automakers like BMW in India.
