Al-Ra'i Meets with Minister of Economy and Industry
Sana'a (Saba) – Parliament Speaker Yahya Ali Al-Ra'i met today with the Minister of Economy, Industry, and Investment, Eng. Maeen Al-Mahaqri, and the Chairman of the Yemeni Cement Manufacturing and Marketing Corporation, Yahya Atifa. During the meeting, the Parliament Speaker heard from the Minister of Economy and Industry an explanation of the ministry's and the corporation's efforts to confront the repercussions of the US-Israeli aggression targeting the economic infrastructure. Parliament Speaker meets Foreign Affairs & Expatriates Minister
Sana'a - Saba: The Speaker of Parliament, Yahya Ali Al-Ra'i, met on Monday with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates, Jamal Amer. During the meeting, the Speaker listened to an explanation of the efforts of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and its role in external communication with relevant UN bodies and organizations in accordance with the requirements of the stage Yemen is going through in light of the developments in the national, regional and international arena. In the meeting, the Speaker stressed the importance of strengthening the diplomatic role to clarify the reality of what is happening and communicate Yemen's grievances to international forums. He stressed the importance of working to strengthen relations , cooperation with the United Nations and international organizations in accordance with constitutional principles and Yemeni law. He praised the efforts exerted by the ministry in addressing the relevant bodies and organizations in the United Nations and the UN Security Council. He urged to redouble efforts to keep pace with the magnitude of Yemen's victories in the face of foreign aggression. The Speaker stressed the importance of an effective and strong diplomatic presence in terms of external communication and explaining the justice of the Yemeni cause to the world, continuing to expose the crimes of the US-Zionist aggression against the Yemeni people and the destruction of its capabilities, the direct targeting of civilians , civilian objects as full-fledged war crimes that are not subject to prescription, and require cooperation, coordination and more efforts to pursue them in international forums. He urged to intensify and strengthen the process of communication with international , human rights bodies and organizations in accordance with effective institutional frameworks in the field of justice and human rights to prosecute and hold Zionist war criminals accountable and hold them responsible for the direct effects of the aggression on the capabilities of the Yemeni people. The meeting reaffirmed the steadfastness of the Yemeni position in support of the Palestinian cause until the aggression is stopped, the siege on the Palestinian people is ended, and humanitarian aid is allowed to enter Gaza. For his part, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates appreciated the interest of the Speaker of Parliament , his support for the ministry's efforts to enhance the effective political and diplomatic role of the Republic of Yemen in following up the Yemeni file in international forums. He pointed out the importance of the Council's efforts to send letters , addresses to parliaments , parliamentary unions and the positive effects of this. Parliament Speaker congratulates Revolution Leader, President Al-Mashat, & Yemeni Workers on International Labor Day
Sana'a - Saba: The Parliament Speaker of , Yahya Ali Al-Ra'i, extended his congratulations to the Revolution Leader , Sayyid Abdulmalik Badruddin Al-Houthi, the President of the Supreme Political Council, Field Marshal Mahdi Al-Mashat, and the members of the Supreme Political Council, as well as all the workers of Yemen, on the occasion of International Labor Day. On behalf of the House's presidency, members, and general secretariat, Yahya Ali Al-Ra'i expressed sincere congratulations to all male and female workers, leaders, and cadres of the trade union and labor movement across all fields of work, production, farms, and facilities in the Capital Secretariat and throughout the provinces of the Republic. He called on Yemeni workers to redouble their efforts in achieving further successes and advancements in their respective fields to promote development across various sectors , alleviate the repercussions of aggression and blockade. The Parliament Speaker urged unified productive and developmental efforts to strengthen the economic front in confronting conspiratorial schemes targeting Yemen—both its land and its people. Yemeni Parliament Speaker extends condolences to Iranian counterpart over Shahid Rajaee port explosion victims
Sana'a – Saba: Yahya Ali Al-Ra'i, Speaker of the Yemeni Parliament, sent a message of condolence and solidarity to Mohammad Bagher Ghalibaf, Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly of the Islamic Republic of Iran, following the tragic explosion at Shahid Rajaee Port in southern Iran, which resulted in dozens of fatalities and hundreds of injuries. In his message, Al-Ra'i expressed Yemen's full solidarity with the Islamic Republic of Iran—its parliament, government, and people—during this painful tragedy. On behalf of the Presidency and members of the Yemeni Parliament, as well as the Yemeni people, Al-Ra'i extended his deepest condolences to his Iranian counterpart, the members of the Islamic Consultative Assembly, the brotherly Iranian people, and the families of the victims of the explosion in Bandar Abbas, southern Iran.
