Mangaluru: Edneer Mutt pontiff Sri Sachidananda Bharati Swami said Yakshadhruva Patla Foundation is an example of what an organisation can achieve for society in a decade. He was speaking at the Yakshadhruva Patla Decennial Celebration 2025 and National Art Conference held under the auspices of the Yakshadhruva Patla Foundation Trust at Adyar Garden on Sunday. The trust provides healthcare to artistes from various fields in the district, homes for shelter to poor artistes, and support, which is a matter of pride. The Yaksha Dhruva Maha Poshaka Award 2025 was presented to the Federation of World Bunts Associations president, Aikala Harish Shetty and his wife Chandrika Harish Shetty on the occasion. 1 2 3 4 Mangaluru: The Yakshadhruva Patla Foundation , Europe, recently organised a unique cultural event , Bharath Kala Vaibhava , in Alsbach, near Frankfurt, Germany. This event brought together a rare collection of traditional Indian art forms on one stage. Over 60 artists, along with 350 people, including both the Indian diaspora and the local European audience, experienced the richness and diversity of Indian event was graced by Sebastian Bubenzer, mayor of Alsbach, along with his family. He praised the spirit of cultural celebration. Narendra Shenoy, president of the foundation's Europe unit, shared the vision and global work of the foundation in promoting Indian arts and supporting artists. Ajeeth Prabhu, artist and secretary of the foundation's Europe unit, spoke about the importance of preserving Indian traditions and highlighted how Bharath Kala Vaibhava featured more than 10 traditional art forms, including performances by trained Tamil folk dance Kavadi Attam was brought to life by Frankfurt Tamil Sangham kids, choreographed by Durga Palanivetrivelan. Kavya Sharma's graceful performance of Ghoomar showcased the elegance and festive spirit of Rajasthan. From Kerala, Mohiniyattam was beautifully performed by Gayatri Narayan. Assam's classical dance Sattriya was presented by Rrishika Kakoty. Team Mayuris Frankfurt brought the energy of Karnataka's folk culture through a lively Kolata devotional concert Bhakti Sangeet by Swara Ninad Frankfurt featured Meera Bhajans, Abhangs, and Purandara Dasa's compositions, performed by Swathi Ajeeth Prabhu, Vibha Katti, Vaishali Santhosh Bhat, Shriyansh, and Shriya, along with the beautiful live painting on stage by Pavitra Sathya Kumar. Parai Attam, a powerful drum-based folk art from Tamil Nadu, was performed live for the first time in Frankfurt by Frankfurt Tamil Sangham under the guidance of Nagakumar tribal dance Dhemsa was performed by the Marati Katta Germany team. The elegant classical dance from Odisha was performed by Subhalaxmi Mohanty. The Yakshagana ballet Mayamrugha, was performed by Yakshadhruva Patla Foundation event was strongly supported by the Bergstrasse Indian Association, along with Rashmi Suhas Rao, Bharathi Bhushan, Varun Chayapathi, and other volunteers. The event also set the stage for the foundation's upcoming decennial celebration in Mangaluru.
