India Yamaha Motor opens 500th Blue Square showroom
India Yamaha Motor Pvt Ltd (IYM) has inaugurated its 500th 'Blue Square' showroom, bolstering its premium retail infrastructure in the country. The Blue Square format was launched in 2019 as a part of Yamaha's effort to enhance customer engagement and showcase its racing heritage and premium offerings in exclusive experiential spaces. According to a company statement, Yamaha added 100 Blue Square outlets in the last nine months to expand accessibility across urban and semi-urban markets. The latest milestone, it said, highlights the brand's balanced national growth and commitment to providing consistent, premium retail experiences. Each Blue Square outlet features designated zones for accessories, branded merchandise, and rider community activities, while also serving as key touchpoints for Yamaha's brand engagement initiatives, such as 'Blue Streaks' rides. The showrooms host Yamaha's premium motorcycle and scooter lineup, including the YZF-R3, MT-03, AEROX 155, and the YZF-R15 and MT-15 series. Hybrid scooters like the Fascino 125 FI and Ray ZR 125 FI are also part of the portfolio. 'Reaching the 500-showroom mark is a proud moment in our journey to build a stronger, more connected Yamaha community,' said Itaru Otani, chairman, Yamaha Motor India Group of Companies. 'Our Blue Square showrooms go beyond retail—they are about brand exploration and rider engagement,' he added.
