'We're beyond excited to join the Columbia food scene and become a part of this vibrant community.' According to Mejias, he is hoping to open the new Halo's Eatery restaurant location in August 2025. Currently, Mejias is still finalizing his hours of operation for the new location, but he expects to focus on lunch and evening dinner service several days a week. According to the Halo's Eatery website, Mejias graduated from YTI Career Institute in 2013 after studying Culinary Arts. His inspiration for cooking stems from the cooking show 'Yan Can Cook,' which he used to watch as a child. abc27 news will keep you updated as more information becomes available.
