Destination X Winner Revealed! Grade Season 1 and the Finale
Destination X delivered a dramatic Season 1 finale on Tuesday — but did the best contestant win? Let's recap. At the top of the hour, we meet our final three competitors — Rick, Biggy and Peter — for the last time before the field gets narrowed down to two in a high-stakes game of trivia. For Biggy, the challenge brings about the stinging bite of betrayal: He finally learns about Peter and Rick's secret alliance, and the pair use their correct answers to conspire against Biggy in hopes of advancing to the final stage of competition together. More from TVLine Save the Dates: South Park Sets Return, Kelly Clarkson's NBC Series and More NBC Reveals Fall Premiere Dates for #OneChicago, SVU and More - Plus, Organized Crime Returns! America's Got Talent Season 20 Resumes With 'Unreal' Comeback Audition (Exclusive Sneak Peek) Despite Biggy's surprise at the backstabbing from his pal Rick, the man stays in the game until the last possible second. Rick finishes on top, but Biggy and Peter finish out the challenge in a tie. It all comes down to one last tie-breaking question to determine who moves on in the competition: How many islands is Venice made up of? Peter guesses 27, while Biggy guesses 210. The correct answer? 118, meaning Peter inches ahead of Biggy by just one island. (One dadgum island, as Biggy puts it!) Peter and Rick advance in hopes of winning the cash prize, as each must solve a string of rather random geographic riddles. Finally, both men receive three clues to Jeffrey's final Destination X: a $100 bill, an hourglass and a photo of Queen Elizabeth. Peter thinks the money and royalty point toward the Tower of London, home to the Crown Jewels. Rick, on the other hand, connects the mighty Benjamin Franklin with telling time, and guesses Big Ben. In the end, it's Rick who is presented with a briefcase full of $250,000 within the walls of the iconic towering clock, and becomes the Season 1 winner of Destination X. Are you happy to see Rick walk away victorious in the finale? Grade the finale, and Season 1 overall, then sound off in the comments! FBI: Most Wanted's Closure-Filled Series Finale Reveals a Pregnancy, a Big Career Move and a New [Spoiler]
The following contains spoilers from the Season 6 — aka series — finale. Because it was officially cancelled nearly three months ago, CBS' FBI: Most Wanted had, and clearly made use of, the time to set steer its season finale into a proper series finale. More from TVLine The Voice's Season 27 Winner Is... Sadly, the FBI: International Series Finale Barely Featured OG Agents Vo and Raines - Grade It Spine-Tingling FBI Season 7 Finale Leaves [Spoiler]'s Life in Limbo The final Case of the Week was no great shakes. It showed promise as a 'ripped from the headlines' riff on Elon Musk and DOGE (here named BOGO) shutting down government agencies and firing federal workers en masse, complete with young tech bros calling the shots. The twist was that two of the BOGO bros were working a side hustle and schemed to access a federal server so as to create a 'kill switch' for the national cyber grid, to auction off to the highest bidder. In the end, though, they were in over their head and a quite inept, so both were either shot or in cuffs by almost 10:45 pm. The rest of the episode — including a cold open set in Houston, where Nina showed her sister off to Dallas, before having a nice moment with their father — was focused on team member updates and, ultimately, closure. Whilst sitting on a POI, Nina updated Ray on the sitch with her sis, after which he shared that he and Cory are having another baby. Then, at a 'soft opening' for Remy and Abby's restaurant/58th birthday party for the former, more updates trickled out. Hana shared that Ethan would be leaving rehab, 90 days clean, and they are moving in together. And there was more talk of the Nina/Tink and Ray/Cora developments. Remy then took the floor and detailed how, at age 58, he had decided not to once again apply to supercede the Bureau's mandatory retirement age (57). Instead, he told SAC Castille that he has decided to retire, so as to 'spend more time with the love of my life' as well as their new business venture. And who better to fill Remy's shoes than Sheryll, who will pass on the opportunity in D.C. and instead step up as the New York Fugitive Task Force's new team leader! Remy then led everyone, drinks in hand, outside the dive bar-turned-restaurant to 'see something.' He then flicked a switch to reveal the establishment's new sign and name: The Muster Room, which Abby signed off on. 'To family,' Remy toasted, as the camera pulled back on the team, and the series faded to black… Want scoop on , or for any other TV show? Grosse Pointe Garden Society Plants Seeds for Possible Season 2 as Fate Remains TBD — Read Recap
Did a bad seed just spoil the bunch on Grosse Pointe Garden Society? The NBC dramedy — which has yet to be renewed for a Season 2 — wrapped its freshman run on Friday with a twist: One of our gardeners has committed a surprising act of betrayal. More from TVLine Shark Tank Says an Emotional Goodbye to Mark Cuban - Will You Still Watch Without Him? The Chi Season 7 Premiere: Alicia Kills [Spoiler] in Vengeful Attack - But Did She Get the Right Man? Plus, Grade It! TVLine Asks: Would The Handmaid's Tale Weaponized Wedding Cake Have Worked on You? Early in the finale, Alice learns the truth about her dog's death (for real this time). It turns out, her mother-in-law Patty isn't responsible for the murder, as we previously thought in Episode 11. The dog killer is actually Marilyn, the garden club's president. And, like the other Grosse Pointe death, it wasn't totally on purpose. Marilyn had found her cat being attacked by another animal in the dark and shot her gun in the direction of the threat, accidentally killing Alice's furry friend. And once Alice learns the full truth, she gets a guilty conscience about all that has happened. She calls Brett, admitting there might be feelings between them, and then she does something that could change the course of the series: She heads to the police station. She says she's done something they should know about, and prepares to give a statement. As she sits down to presumably confess about her father-in-law's demise, Joel tries, but fails, to interrupt her. Meanwhile, the rest of the group finds Keith's body — which had been moved by Kenny — and relocates his corpse to the compost bin in the garden. The episode ends with one final time jump, and this time, a carved pumpkin signals the shift, reading: 'Next Season.' We see our three faithful gardeners — Birdie, Brett and Catherine — chastising someone for breaking their trust. The person's identity is concealed by a costume, but it seems like it's probably Alice. Then again, we didn't predict Quiche would be Keith, so the series could throw a curveball. After all, we don't know exactly what happened with Alice at the police station, and we aren't sure if 'that tweaker gas station guy' has said anything more about the night of the gala and that stolen bracelet. Is it actually Kenny? Could it be Joel? Gas station guy? It's anybody's guess! Did the finale successfully plant a seed for a second season? Hit the comments with your thoughts, then grade the episode — and Season 1 overall — in our polls below! Did Doctor Odyssey Just Air Its Series Finale? Grade It!
Doctor Odyssey concluded its freshman run on Thursday, but with its fate still TBD, we can't help but wonder whether Episode 18 will also double as the series finale. Thursday's episode picks up after last week's cliffhanger, with Max still stranded on land. Avery sets out on a mission to find the doctor, which doesn't turn out to be all that hard or even take all that long. She finds Max unharmed and unbothered by the earthquake, and they all head back to the ship together. More from TVLine Did Law & Order's Maroun Exact Deadly Revenge for Her Sister's Murder? Read Finale Recap and Weigh In! Georgie & Mandy's Emily Osment, EP Talk Threat to First Marriage (Chris Gorham!) and Season 2 Plans Law & Order: Organized Crime Recap: Why Is Stabler Purring? and Other Episode 6 Thoughts Elsewhere, The Odyssey's corporate office tells Captain Massey he is temporarily relieved of his duties after breaching protocol by going to shore in the aftermath of an earthquake to rescue those stranded passengers. But that problem is also quickly resolved: The entire crew bands together to fight the powers that be on their boss' behalf, so Massey remains captain of this ship. Just as the captain finds his happy ending this week, so does our central throuple. In a callback to Episode 1, Max and Avery dance to 'Despacito' in the sand at the beach, where they vow to take on life together as a couple. And the men call an official truce, with Tristan even admitting that Avery and Max make a cute pair. (The perfect bookend to a fever dream if you ask me!) But with all those loose ends tied up, it feels like Doctor Odyssey is putting itself out to pasture. Should the series continue — and we hope it does! — we'd love to see it revitalized with elements of TVLine's Fever Dream Theory. Until then, it looks like this ship may have sailed. After you grade the episode, and Season 1 overall, in our polls below, hit the comments with your take: Did the finale feel like the series' end? Or are you holding out hope for Season 2? Law & Order: SVU Finale Recap: Some Surprising News Has Major Impact on a Member of Liv's Team — Plus, Grade It!
If you tuned into Thursday's Law & Order: SVU season finale to find out how the show handled the exits of cast members Octavio Pisano and Juliana Aidén Martinez, you'll have to wait until Season 27 for that reveal. (Sorry about all the bloody eye sockets you had to witness in the meantime!) The Season 26 finale instead focuses on a gruesome serial killer who preyed on mental health professionals. The case of the week kicks off with an attack on a therapist, Gretchen (played by Breaking Bad's Betsy Brandt), who was bludgeoned and raped in her brownstone. Pages from the notebook in which she keeps her session notes were ripped out, causing Olivia & Co. to theorize that a patient or former patient was behind the crime. More from TVLine Law & Order: Organized Crime Recap: Why Is Stabler Purring? and Other Episode 6 Thoughts Poker Face: Natasha Lyonne Explains Steve Buscemi's Surprise Role (and Their Long History Together) Law & Order: SVU Is Bringing Kelli Giddish Back as a Series Regular Benson's team think they know who did it, and they attempt to corner the guy (who, yep, is a former patient) while he's trapped in traffic on a highway on-ramp. But the man sees them coming and starts shooting at them as he hops out of his car and runs. Eventually, Velasco and Bruno get him to put down the weapon… but then the guy hops over the roadway's railing, falling to grievous injury on a car below. He dies on the way to the hospital. Only problem: The guy who died had an alibi, and he wasn't the person who attacked Gretchen. Even worse, another therapist is attacked in the same manner, only the new victim's eyes are gouged out. (Eew.) After an investigation that stretches to Connecticut, the squad finds its guy, who's working as a manager at a rental-car company in Manhattan. Bruno literally hops buildings to follow the perp as he runs, but he and Velasco eventually corner and arrest the man, who is, indeed, in need of serious psychiatric help. In other news, Velasco gets promoted to Detective Second Grade, an occasion that the squad marks with a surprise gathering at a nearby bar. And at the end of the episode, Benson and her officers don their dress blues and attend the ceremony in which Velasco is officially promoted. Now it's your turn. What did you think of the episode?
