Midnight Strikes: US Aggression Target Key Educational, Training Center in Yemen
The United States has carried out a new wave of airstrikes targeting Yemen's central province of al-Bayda and the provinces of Sa'ada and Hudaydah, marking a renewed escalation in the ongoing aggression against the Arab country. Reports indicate that five airstrikes struck the vocational institute in the al-Sawma'ah District, east of al-Bayda, resulting in substantial damage to this crucial educational and training center. In a separate assault, three additional airstrikes targeted the al-Sahleen area in the al-Salem subdistrict of Kitaf District, an area near Yemen's northern border that has often been a focal point of US operations. As of now, there are no immediate reports of casualties or the full extent of the destruction caused by these strikes. The US launched its military campaign in Yemen back in March, justifying the actions as necessary for the protection of international shipping lanes. However, as Yemen intensifies its military efforts in support of Palestinians, the recent airstrikes have drawn even sharper scrutiny. On Friday, millions rallied in Al-Sabeen square in Sanaa and across 14 governorates, uniting under the banner 'Jihad, Steadfastness, and Heroism… We Will Not Abandon Gaza.' The demonstrations served as a powerful statement of solidarity with the Palestinian people, with organizers declaring, 'We will not let Gaza down, and we will not leave its people alone. We say again: you are not alone.' Millions took to the streets across all Yemeni cities, condemning the actions of the United States in killing children. They demanded strikes on American interests in the region and a halt to American navigation. — Yemen Military 🇾🇪 (@Yemenimilitary) April 11, 2025
