King Charles Is "Livid" Over Drama in Sandringham and Fired His Gamekeeper
King Charles, man who is known to have "temper tantrums," is apparently furious over the lack of pheasants available for him to shoot in Sandringham. Yes, you read that correctly. As you may be aware, the royals spend their Christmas holidays in Sandringham and traditionally go shooting—a controversial "sport" that some members of the family have opted out of. But Charles is alllll about killing the wildlife on his property, and is allegedly having a meltdown over the possibility of canceling this year's Boxing Day shoot. To the point where he's fired a "long-serving gamekeeper." "It was a total cock-up. No birds, no bang, just red faces," a source tells The Sun, who reports that Charles is "livid" about the situation. "The King wasn't having it." As for the gamekeeper, the insider notes 'Let's just say he's well and truly plucked off." While King Charles is pretty chill in public, sources have said that he doesn't like it when things don't go his way. Back in 2024, a former employee told the Daily Beast, "Charles can have a terrible temper. Anything he perceives as incompetence particularly brings it out. He doesn't suffer fools gladly. In fairness to him, as anyone who has actually worked with him will tell you, he himself is always extremely well prepared, well-read on the subject matter of people he meets and is working with, diligent and respectful of expertise. The counter of that is that he expects other people to show him the same respect; he can certainly go off at the staff in pretty blunt terms when he perceives someone has not done their job properly, or is just being, to use one of his preferred terms, 'idiotic.'" Oh, and royal author Tom Quinn said in his book Yes Ma'am: The Secret Life of Royal Servants (in an excerpt from The Times) that both King Charles and Prince William are "prone to tantrums if things are not done to their liking." Queen Camilla's hilarious response after James Bond legend 'urged her to swear'
Samantha Bond, who played Moneypenny in four James Bond films, has shared the moment she asked Queen Camilla if she was looking forward to becoming Queen before she was married to King Charles Queen Camilla delivered a side-splitting seven-word retort after being encouraged to curse by a James Bond icon at a charity do. Samantha Bond, famed for her role as Moneypenny in the Bond franchise, recounted an encounter with the Queen Consort, prior to her nuptials with King Charles, at a Prince's Trust fundraiser in Windsor, as reported by the Mail. The star, who has championed the Prince's Trust for years—a charity founded by the then-Prince Charles to support disadvantaged youth—recalled congratulating the Queen on her engagement and receiving an unexpected comeback. She said: "I met Camilla just before they were getting had a fundraising evening for the Prince's Trust at Windsor.'I said, 'Many congratulations, ma'am, what splendid news', and she went, 'Oh, you wouldn't think so from the Press'. "I looked at her and went, 'You know, sometimes you just have to say, f*** 'em!' Queen Camilla roared with laughter and replied: 'Oh, f*** 'em! Oh, that's frightfully good"." King Charles and Queen Camilla tied the knot on 9 April 2005 in a civil ceremony at Windsor Guildhall and last month marked their 20th anniversary amidst a Royal tour in Italy. Yet, preceding their union, it was reported that the Queen expressed a particular grievance to King Charles, followed by a cheeky expletive-laden query. The intimate concerns of Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, ahead of her wedding with Prince Charles were revealed in a new book titled 'Yes Ma'am: The Secret Life of Royal Servants'. In the book, it's reported that Camilla vented frustrations over Royal protocols stating: "Can't we get away from all this protocol? It's all bo****ks." Prince Charles, known for his aversion to coarse language, is said to have responded tenderly: "You're doing it [becoming queen] for me, darling." This purported exchange was reportedly overheard by Palace staff, with an insider divulging to author Tom Quinn that Camilla was adverse to the notion of queendom. Charles and Camilla's connection dates back to the 1970s when they struck up a camaraderie. Despite their respective marriages—Charles to Princess Diana in 1981, and Camilla to Andrew Parker Bowles in 1973—the duo maintained contact. Post-divorce, Camilla in 1995 and Charles in 1996, their relationship gradually stepped into the public eye, culminating in a civil ceremony at Windsor Guildhall in 2005. Following the passing of Queen Elizabeth II in September 2022, Charles became King, and Camilla assumed the role of Queen Consort.

Both Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle 'Were Crying Their Eyes Out' in Infamous 2018 Argument
Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle's infamous argument over the tailoring of Princess Charlotte's bridesmaid dress for Meghan's 2018 wedding to Prince Harry is back in the news again via a new royal book. Originally, reports indicated that Meghan made Kate cry, but then Meghan said in a 2021 interview with Oprah Winfrey that the reverse was true. Tom Quinn's latest book, Yes Ma'am, cites a royal staffer that shared that both women were crying their eyes out over the infamous bridesmaid dress row between Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle is back in the news again, as it is further explained in a new book by a veteran royal biographer. In Tom Quinn's book Yes Ma'am: The Secret Life of Royal Servants, Quinn wrote that both women cried their eyes out during the disagreement, which centered around the tailoring of Princess Charlotte's bridesmaid dress for Meghan's May 19, 2018 wedding to Prince Harry. Originally, reports were that Meghan made Kate cry; Meghan cleared up in her 2021 interview alongside Harry with Oprah Winfrey that it was Kate that made her cry. Now, it seems, both women were shaken up by the incident, per a royal staffer's account of the dispute in Quinn's new book. 'I can tell you that all the papers and commentators got this wrong,' the staffer said (via Newsweek). 'The truth is that, as with many of these spats between sisters, brothers, or even sisters-in-law, both sides were really upset.' 'The truth is that during the discussions about the bridesmaid's dress, Meghan said a few things she regretted and Kate said a few things she later regretted, but it was all in the heat of the moment,' the staff member added. 'Both women were crying their eyes out!' The Telegraph reported that 'Kate had only just given birth to Prince Louis and was feeling quite emotional.' (Harry and Meghan married on May 19, less than one month after Louis' birth on April 23.) Meghan said herself while speaking with Winfrey that Kate was 'upset about something,' but later 'owned it' and 'apologized, and she brought me flowers and a note apologizing,' Meghan said. 'I actually think it's—I don't think it's fair to her to get into the details of that, because she apologized, and I've forgiven her.' 'It was a really hard week of the wedding,' Meghan added. Harry wrote about the moment in his 2023 memoir Spare, sharing that Kate texted Meghan four days before the wedding, telling her, 'Charlotte's dress is too big, too long, too baggy. She cried when she tried it on at home.' Meghan then told Kate to see the tailor, who was 'standing by' at Kensington Palace—their shared home at the time—but Kate said that 'all the dresses need to be remade.' 'A short time later, I arrived home and found Meg on the floor. Sobbing,' Harry wrote. 'I was horrified to see her so upset, but didn't think it was a catastrophe.' In his 2023 book Endgame, royal biographer Omid Scobie wrote that Kate and Meghan didn't have much in common, and their bond was further eschewed by a growing rift between their husbands Prince William and Prince Harry. 'Still, for Meghan, who found much of her time as a working royal a lonely and isolated experience, there was a hope that Kate would be someone she could at least turn to for an encouraging word during her lowest points,' Scobie wrote. 'They were once both outsiders, middle-class women brought into the House of Windsor for unimaginably different lives. Kate, however, was uninterested in forming this kind of bond with Meghan.' Harry and Meghan stepped back as working members of the royal family in 2020, and Kate and Meghan have reportedly interacted very little since, save for a joint appearance with their husbands two days after Queen Elizabeth died in September 2022, where they greeted mourners assembled at Windsor Castle. Prince Harry's obsession with being a ‘spare' is destroying his relationship with royal family: experts
Being a "spare" continues to haunt Prince Harry. It's been said that the Duke of Sussex is tormented by his status as a royal "spare," which continues to dominate his life five years after his royal exit. The term is a nod to the "heir and the spare," a phrase referring to the different destinies that have separated Harry and his older brother, Prince William, since birth, People magazine reported. Prince Harry Accused Of Bullying In 'Deeply Damaging' Claims As New Scandal Rocks Sussexes: Expert "Harry is obviously obsessed with being 'the spare,'" royal expert Richard Fitzwilliams claimed to Fox News Digital. "… Harry believes 'the institution,' as he calls the monarchy, had it in for him and Meghan Markle. The palace, he believes, briefed against him. His accusation that Queen Camilla was particularly ruthless in this regard was a red line for King Charles." Read On The Fox News App WATCH: PRINCE HARRY'S JABS AT QUEEN CAMILLA UNFORGIVABLE FOR KING CHARLES: EXPERT Fitzwilliams' claims came shortly after Ingrid Seward, royal author and editor-in-chief of Majesty magazine, told The Daily Mail that the "spare" label took over Harry's life "to the extent that he has now made a career out of it." It was famously the title of the royal's 2023 memoir in which he exposed family rifts and secrets. "He chooses to be the victim and wreak vengeance on the slights he thought he had suffered; on his family, on the press and through the courts," Seward told the outlet. "[It's] how Harry chose to see himself." The outlet also referred to royal author Tom Quinn's new book, "Yes Ma'am: The Secret Life of Royal Servants." According to Quinn, senior palace courtiers once tried to explain to Harry that he was much better off than his brother because William would never be able to escape the pressures and responsibilities of being the future king. But sources claimed to Quinn that Harry couldn't see this. Royal author Robert Lacey previously told "Good Morning America" in 2020 that Harry's unhappiness with being known as the royal "spare" continued to grow over the years. Lacey told the outlet it worsened when it became obvious that William and Kate were being prepped to take over the throne one day. "The British royal system can be very cruel, and it's particularly cruel to the spare," said Lacey. "Harry came to realize… that he was typecast as the court jester, the No. 2." But Christopher Andersen, author of "The King," told Fox News Digital there's a good reason why the term continues to hurt the father of two. Click Here To Sign Up For The Entertainment Newsletter "Harry was always in the shadow of his big brother, and it had a profound effect on his self-confidence — or lack thereof," Andersen explained. "Within the royal family, the focus was always on William. Outside the royal family, the focus was always on William. If there was a social situation, or a ceremonial situation, or even a family get-together, Harry was shunted aside, and in many cases completely ignored… When these things happen to you beginning in infancy, obviously you're going to build up some resentment." "… Anybody who doesn't think that Harry feels used and abused — and to some extent he undoubtedly was — isn't paying very close attention," Andersen added. Andersen described how Harry's late mother, Princess Diana, intervened when she realized that the prince was being cast aside. "One particularly touching example occurred when the beloved Queen Mother had the brothers for tea at Clarence House and made Harry sit in a separate corner alone while she chatted with William," Andersen explained. "William was going to be king. William was the important one. The royal family traditionally has never been known for either its sensitivity or subtlety." "Diana tried to change that… But frankly, Diana knew that Harry would have a tough row to hoe," Andersen shared. Like What You're Reading? It wasn't long before the adorable scamp was unfairly turned into a drug-using problem child. And as we know from Harry's book, to some extent, that was engineered by the palace to make Charles and Camilla look good." Royal expert Ian Pelham Turner told Fox News Digital that Harry struggled to find his way within the palace before he made his royal exit in 2020. "In Harry, I feel he has had a passion to carry on Diana's work," said Turner. "He [faced] frustration of not being able to work within the royal stranglehold of what he could and could not achieve. The military gave him one option, but deep down he knew he would not have the… influence of his brother William." "The book 'Spare' was, in my view, a throwback to the restrictions he constantly came up against," he shared. "The final straw was him trying to be independent of the royal purse, but still carrying out his [duties]… whilst trying to protect [his wife] Meghan." The Duke and Duchess of Sussex cited the U.K. media's treatment of the former American actress as one of the main reasons for their decision to quit royal duties and move to California. According to the Daily Mail, the 40-year-old appears to be content in "self-imposed exile" but wishes he could support his father, who is battling an undisclosed form of cancer. Sources close to Harry previously told People magazine that his relationship with the king had deteriorated. They claim the monarch no longer takes his son's calls or responds to his letters. It's also believed that Harry and William aren't speaking. Fox News Digital reached out to Buckingham Palace for comment at the time. "Sadly, Prince Harry has gone from being the spare to the popular and globally significant heir to now spare to his unpopular wife," British royals expert Hilary Fordwich told Fox News Digital. "Instead of embracing the role the royal family envisioned for him… he has chosen to view himself as a victim," Fordwich claimed. "He failed to embrace his significant role. Instead, he focused on perceived slights from his family, thereby embarrassingly failing to embrace his birthright privilege position." "Being the spare has such greater freedom compared to Prince William, who faces intense scrutiny as the future monarch," Fordwich pointed out. "… Instead of counting his blessings, rejoicing in all his riches from his birthright, he chose to wallow in negativity, resulting in… being rejected by the public." British broadcaster and photographer Helena Chard previously claimed to Fox News Digital that Harry still has remorse for the events leading up to his royal exit. "When it comes to regrets, [the Duke and Duchess of Sussex] would be inhuman if they didn't feel slight regrets surrounding how they handled departing the U.K. to pastures new," said Chard. "It will be Harry who has pangs of regret as service as part of the British royal family is all that he knew, and he will be missing certain aspects of his past life, namely the military culture and family unity," she shared. Prince Harry Regrets Royal Exit But Meghan Markle 'Couldn't Wait To Get Away': Expert Chard said Meghan, 43, is more focused on building her lifestyle empire in California than looking back. "Meghan may wonder about what things could have been, but I believe she doesn't look back, is resolute with her decisions, and has little regret as she is not British," said Chard. "She doesn't have heartfelt ties to the royal family. She couldn't wait to get away!" Harry's book gave no sign that royal family relations would be repaired soon. Harry previously told ITV in an interview to promote the memoir that he wants reconciliation, but that there must be "accountability" first. In the final pages, Harry described how he and William walked side by side during the funeral procession of Queen Elizabeth II in September 2022 but spoke barely a word to one another.
