J-Hope talks about BTS' struggles in the past
Recently, on July 5, J-Hope joined the popular online variety show 'Pinggyego' as a guest and got candid about the group and their direction for the future. As the host turned the conversation to what the group had faced in the past years, J-Hope recalled an event from 2018.
While sharing the moment where the group struggled the most, he shared that, 'Around 2018, BTS was receiving so much love that I started wondering if we truly deserved all that attention.
People's eyes on us became a little scary. Normally, getting a reaction is something to be grateful for, but it started feeling overwhelming. Even the members went through a bit of a slump."
He also added that even though the members were in an extreme emotional slump at the time, their message, 'Love Yourself,' is something that kept them afloat. He shared that they had to remind themselves that the message was for everyone, including them.

'We were delivering a message, but it was also something we needed to hear. Writing songs like that helped us learn and grow emotionally,' he continued.
What does the future hold for BTS?
While talking about what the future holds for BTS and what they have been planning, the rapper enthusiastically shared, 'Now that all the members have completed their military service, we're preparing to resume team activities. But it's been such a long time—we haven't been together as seven in nearly three or four years.'
He also added that, 'I'm constantly thinking about how to best coordinate things with the members as we reunite. It's been so long, so I want to do it right.'
The group's last comeback was in 2022, with 'Yet To Come' Since then, members of the group have been either focusing on solo projects or have been busy with military enlistment and service.
