Honey Singh releases One Thousand Miles music video 11 years after its launch
Much to the excitement of fans, rapper Honey Singh released the video of his song 'One Thousand Miles' on Friday. The romantic Punjabi track released 11 years after the audio version came out as part of his album 'Desi Kalaakar'.The video features Singh driving a Lamborghini 'one thousand miles' just to see the love of his life (played by Mandy Takhar). In the video, he can be seen dressed in an all-black outfit with a black leather biker jacket. His salt-and-pepper look added to the vibe of the the video here:
Several fans expressed their excitement about the video release in the comment section of the song on YouTube. One of the fans commented, "Thank you Yo Yo and T Series for making it happen. Can't wait for glorious days. (sic)". Second user commented, "Pehla gaana jo sabko pehle se yaad hai (First song that everyone remembers)(sic)." A third user commented, "No sound can replace this 2014 song (sic)".Earlier this year, the singer performed across several cities in India as part of his Millionaire tour. In a conversation with India Today, the actor spoke about his failed bid to create socially relevant songs.'There is no responsibility for an artiste to do such a thing because we are artistes, not scholars. I acted like a scholar in 2008 when I made a song dedicated to Shaheed Bhagat Singh - it was a super flop. I did not get work for two years. Then in 2023, I made a song about women empowerment. It's called Yo Yo Honey Singh Soul. It has a big message for women empowerment. "Still, it was a flop,' he told added, 'When an artiste feels that he has the responsibility to give a message to the audience, we fail. They don't accept us, appreciate or listen to that.
