DM inaugurates 2 mobile STEM and digital labs in Noida
Noida: DM Manish Kumar Verma inaugurated two mobile STEM and digital labs on Tuesday to promote innovation and digital literacy in govt schools. Set on movable vans, the labs have multiple laptop systems and tabs.
They will visit schools to promote innovation and digital literacy at the schools. The initiative comes under an MoU signed between the district administration and HCLFoundation.
The initiative will operate in 12 selected schools, offering hands-on workshops and interactive digital sessions for students in classes 6 to 10. These mobile labs will be equipped with advanced digital tools, robotics kits, and internet connectivity.
Officials said that the partnership aims to strengthen educational initiatives across 72 govt schools in the district, including 18 secondary and 54 basic education institutions.

"This partnership is an important step towards giving new dimensions to the educational system of our district. These labs will inspire curiosity and innovation and ensure access to quality education," said Verma.
"We aim to bridge the digital divide and create future-ready learners.

Officials shared that since 2017, HCLFoundation has been actively involved in 41 govt schools across Noida and Greater Noida, establishing 24 ICT-enabled classrooms, 28 libraries, 3 Young Kalam Science Centres, and training hubs in robotics and assistive technologies, benefiting over 6,000 out-of-school children.
