Sir, – I saw something the other day that made me question the type of mushrooms I'd had with my breakfast. I witnessed a child climbing a tree. I believe it must be 25 or 30 years since I saw such a thing. The obvious simple pleasure that the boy was taking in the adventure was heartening, something of an antidote to this age of ubiquitous small screens and people not looking where they're going.
