Bahrain Chamber signs MoU with Islamic Chamber to boost Trade and Family Security
The Bahrain Chamber signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Islamic Chamber of Commerce and Development in the fields of food security, family business development, and the promotion of trade relations between Bahrain and Islamic countries.
The MoU also aims to strengthen economic cooperation, and exchange expertise to enhance collaboration opportunities among its members. This took place on the sidelines of the Makkah Halal Forum 2025, in its second edition. The First Vice Chairman of the Bahrain Chamber, Khalid Najibi, emphasized that this aligns with the Chamber's trade diplomacy efforts to enhance international relations, exchange knowledge, information, and studies, as well as organize events, training programs, and capacity building initiatives.
The memorandum, signed by Khalid Najibi and the Secretary General of the Islamic Chamber, Yousef Khalawi, includes the exchange of data related to economic and commercial regulations, as well as their updates, and the promotion of marketing opportunities for each party's products in the other's market.
