Dubai knows how to brunch. There's a deal at every turn, but it's not one size fits all. What might suit a flashy disco-dancer might not be the favourite of bookworm desperate for a good view and some quality grub. To help you out, Team Time Out Dubai has pulled together some of our favourites which match our personalities to a tee. It is one of these places where you can have a superb meal while wearing your comfiest clothes. In fact, it's officially Dubai's best Thai restaurant. Similar to its all-day dining menu, Rowley's in DIFC features endless servings of steak and crispy truffle fries, but with juicy beef skewers, beef tartare, tater tots and a rotation of signature salads included at the weekend too. You can indulge as much as you like, seated inside or out on the terrace. Don't forget to head downstairs to its bar, Tap Line, to take weekend celebrations into the evening. High-quality dishes, expensive ingredients and the most creative offering. COYA Credit: Coya Renowned for being a lively, yet grown-up party brunch, this high-end fiesta takes place every Saturday afternoon at popular Peruvian restaurant COYA. An OG when it comes to bringing Peruvian plates to the city, you can enjoy the well-known restaurant's signature dishes when it comes to brunch in Dubai. There's everything from anticuchos to ceviche, clay pots and churros on the menu, so there's plenty to enjoy while you sway to the beat and soak in the lively vibe. With free-flowing premium drinks and birthday celebrations galore, this is an upbeat brunch for sure, but focus on food is top priority. Dhs695 (house beverages), Dhs745 (bubbly). Check out our full COYA brunch review here La Cantine du Faubourg Credit: La Cantine du Faubourg Brunches in Dubai come and go, but none have stood the test of time quite like La Cantine du Faubourg. Yes, it's had a few different names and themes over the years (remember the elegant pyjama party?), but three very crucial elements have remained. Excellent food with a wide variety of dishes than most brunches in Dubai, a good quality drinks package that caters to everyone, and an immaculate vibe, whether you're sitting inside or alfresco, featuring classy live entertainment. It's *stunning*. It's high-end Japanese (always a win) where you'll get a seemingly never-ending delivery of rather brilliant dishes. Each table receives starters to share, including salmon tacos, wagyu beef gyoza and Korean fried chicken, followed by a seasonal sashimi platter, served shrouded in dry ice for a touch of theatre. Signature maki rolls are made tableside, while each guest can choose one large dish (the grilled giant tiger prawn is impressive) which you can snaffle solo or share with your group. Check out our full Netsu review here Zuma Credit: Zuma One of the most popular brunches around, this has both à la carte and buffet aspects to it, and you get to select one of the restaurant's signature mains which is brought to your table. It's a brilliant way to try one of the best Japanese restaurants in Dubai as there are so many signature dishes to tuck into and a large range of sushi to try. With a selection of maki, nigiri, sashimi and more, plus robata and tempura, the brunch gets off to a strong start. Choose from dishes including the famous miso black cod, before rounding it all off with dessert. The service is excellent and the bar makes for a lively post-brunch drink. We're talking lively night brunches, beach party brunches, and vibey day brunches that inevitably end up in Lucky Voice (badly) performing Spice Girls' greatest hits. Luckily, Dubai hosts a plethora of incredible party brunches designed for having a good time with your mates. Bar Du Port Credit: Bar du Port This cool seafront spot is perched in a perfect position at Dubai Harbour, meaning that as you sip your drinks and dig into your tasty brunch dishes, you have a front-row view of all the yachts. Not only is it incredibly chic with lots of airy, holiday feels, but it also throws a lively party brunch on a Saturday afternoon, complete with resident DJ, that pretty much guarantees a great time. Expect people dressed up to the nines and brunch-goers up on their feet dancing by the time the last orders roll around. As you'd expect from Secret Parties, this is a party brunch, not a chatting brunch. Do not go for a catch-up with mates you've not seen in ages as you will not hear a word they say. Not one. Instead, book a table with your best dancing buddies and get set for a night on your feet. You'll be serenaded by the live singer as you dine and pretty quickly, everyone is up and mingling, ready for some even louder plate smashing and napkin-waving. There's no time for sunlounger naps here, you'll be having way too much fun for that. Expect theatrical performances, a DJ set playing KISSTORY anthems and delicious food platters brought to your sun lounger. Dancing in the huge focal pool is highly encouraged. Dubai is spoilt for choice when it comes to laid-back brunch spots, with a spot of au natural scenery and top-notch dishes. If you're looking for a brunch where you can really fit in a good catch-up, these might just do the trick. Mare by Bussola Credit: Mare by Bussola This Amalfi-style brunch lets you spend the whole day by the sea, bronzing, swimming and then digging into your glorious, well-earned seaside meal. The dishes are refined, featuring lots (and lots) of seafare — calamari, lobster, shrimps, seabass, oysters, king crab and scallops, and beef – all slathered, dipped or grilled in light Med spices. Pai Thai Credit: Pai Thai If the trademark Thai aromas of lemongrass and Kaffir lime don't draw you in, the fact that you have to take an abra to get here might. Surrounded by tropical greenery and the waterways of Madinat Jumeirah, this stunning Pai Thai at Jumeirah Al Qasr serves a four-course sharing-style brunch menu offering sticky, wok-fried dishes, crunchy papaya salad, dim sums and the mango sticky rice number we all love. Of course, this Al Qasr spot is in no way just casual, but it's got plenty of that traditional Thai interiors to appreciate and waterfront views to match. These brunches are serving up views as well as vibes. They look as good as they taste, and there are plenty of opportunities for an Insta story (or seven). Attiko Credit: Attiko How could you not take a picture of that view. High in the sky up on floor 31, you'll tuck into a pan-Asian style sharing set menu, while looking out over Dubai Harbour all the way to Ain Dubai. Not only are the dishes a real treat (make sure you try the prawns), there are also live performers and a DJ to keep you entertained all afternoon. If you're searching for a photo op (not that it's hard here), take your seat on the floral swing in front of the Burj and pose to your hearts content. A perfect choice for the cooler months, you can perch out on the terrace looking over Dubai Creek before browsing one of the best buffet brunches in town. The view isn't the only thing you can get on the gram either. Expect a sprawling seafood station with oysters galore, an open-air barbecue and an entire cheese room. Found at the world's highest outdoor infinity pool, the views from here are incredible. You can get a pic of the outline of the whole of Palm Jumeirah, JBR and even over to Burj Al Arab on a clear day. Run by Secret Parties, you can opt for the afternoon or sundowners brunch, which offers some of the best sunset views in the city.
