Al-Nahda team wins championship of summer schools sports league in Al-Thawra District
Sana'a - Saba: Al-Nahda neighborhood team was crowned champion of the football league for students of summer courses in Al-Thawra District, within the capital Secretariat. The league, organized by the Youth and Sports Office and the Educational Zone in the district, in cooperation with Al-Sha'ab Social Foundation and under the supervision of the Subcommittee for Summer Activities and Courses, featured six teams divided into two groups. Al-Nahda team secured the league title after a seven-day competition by defeating Al-Ghuraf neighborhood team 4-2 in the final match. At the closing ceremony, the district director, Aqeel Al-Saqqaf, the deputy director of the Youth Office in the Secretariat, Zaid Jahaf, the mobilization official in the district, Saddam Al-Hababi, and the director of the Youth Office in the district, Mohammed Al-Mutawakkil, honored the Al-Nahda team with the championship trophy. Additionally, the teams of Al-Ghuraf and Al-Hasaba Al-Shamaliya were awarded colored medals. Al-Saqqaf and Al-Hababi emphasized the importance of summer activities and courses in building a conscious generation equipped with knowledge, science, and Quranic culture, as well as nurturing students' talents and creative abilities. Meanwhile, Al-Mutawakkil noted that 90 players from summer school students across various neighborhoods in Al-Thawra District participated in the league, with the aim of forming a district team to compete in the upcoming capital-level championship. Inspection summer courses & test centers in new Sana'a district
Sana'a - Saba: Sana'a Governor Abdulmalik Al-Gharbi inspected on Wwdnesday the activities of summer courses and testing centers in new Sana'a district. Along with the head of the Passport Authority, Brigadier General Ammar Al-Hamli, Director of the Directorate Abdullah Al-Marouni, Director of the Youth Office in the province, Al-Mohsen Al-Sharif, and his deputy in charge of the educational sector, Amin Sinan, reviewed the progress of exams, activities and programs at Imam Zaid, Abdullah bin Masoud and Ansar Mosque schools. They praised the educational activities that students receive, especially in memorizing and reciting the Holy Qur'an, Qur'anic culture, the biography of the Prophet, the Arabic language and everything related to developing their skills. They stressed that the summer sessions are an educational station to prepare generations armed with Qur'anic culture and useful sciences in various fields, and to immunize them from the soft war that targets the nation in its faith and identity. Checking summer activities progress in Dhamar
Dhamar - Saba: The Director of the Youth and Sports Office in Dhamar province, Ali Al-Awsh, inspected on Saturday the progress of summer activities at Al-Hamza and Imam Al-Hadi centers in Dhamar city. He, along with the Director of Sports Activities in the Education Sector, Khaled Al-Najimi, and a number of activity managers at the Youth Office, inspected the ongoing arrangements for religious, cultural, sports, social and scouting competitions at the summer schools. During the visit, Al-Awsh noted the importance of summer schools in developing the capabilities of youth and young people, providing them with religious, cultural , scientific knowledge , skills, immunizing them from destructive ideas and the dangers of soft warfare. He pointed out that a committee of youth and sports office cadres was formed to follow up, evaluate and activate cultural, sports and religious activities in all summer schools in the province. The director of the Youth Office in Dhamar emphasized the importance of these activities in preparing a national generation that is aware and fortified with a Qur'anic culture, capable of facing the challenges that target the nation , contribute to building its future and serving its causes.
