
Checking summer activities progress in Dhamar
Dhamar - Saba:
The Director of the Youth and Sports Office in Dhamar province, Ali Al-Awsh, inspected on Saturday the progress of summer activities at Al-Hamza and Imam Al-Hadi centers in Dhamar city.
He, along with the Director of Sports Activities in the Education Sector, Khaled Al-Najimi, and a number of activity managers at the Youth Office, inspected the ongoing arrangements for religious, cultural, sports, social and scouting competitions at the summer schools.
During the visit, Al-Awsh noted the importance of summer schools in developing the capabilities of youth and young people, providing them with religious, cultural , scientific knowledge , skills, immunizing them from destructive ideas and the dangers of soft warfare.
He pointed out that a committee of youth and sports office cadres was formed to follow up, evaluate and activate cultural, sports and religious activities in all summer schools in the province.
The director of the Youth Office in Dhamar emphasized the importance of these activities in preparing a national generation that is aware and fortified with a Qur'anic culture, capable of facing the challenges that target the nation , contribute to building its future and serving its causes.

Summer schools football championship concludes in Capital Secretariat
Sana'a - Saba: The Summer Schools Football Championship for district teams in the Capital Secretariat concluded on Wednesday at Al-Dharafi Stadium. The tournament, organized by the Youth and Sports Office of the Municipality, was part of the summer activities for the year 1446 AH. The final match was attended by Ali Hadhban, Deputy Minister of Youth for Sports Affairs, Abdullah Obaid, Director of the Youth and Sports Office in the Municipality, his deputy Zaid Jahaf, and several youth and sports leaders, along with a large crowd. The match featured a strong competition between the teams of Al-Tahrir and Bani Al-Harith districts, ending in a 1-1 draw in regular time. Al-Tahrir eventually secured the title by winning on penalties. Al-Tahrir district team was crowned champion of the tournament, which was held under the patronage of the Supreme Committee for Summer Activities and Courses, in cooperation with the Capital Municipality's Subcommittee and the Al-Shaab Social Development Foundation. The championship aimed to enhance the sports, educational, and cultural aspects of summer school students. At the end of the match, the winning teams were honored—Al-Tahrir as champions and Bani Al-Harith as runners-up. Additionally, the winners of the cultural competition were recognized, with Al-Sab'een district team taking first place, while Al-Ma'in and Al-Wahda district teams shared second place. Al-Mawlid, Idris inspect renovation requirements for Al-Bayda Youth Club Building
Al-Bayda - Saba: Youth and Sports Minister Dr. Mohammed Al-Mawlid and Al-Bayda Governor Abdullah Idris inspected the damage to Al-Bayda Youth Club building resulting from US-Saudi-Emirati aggression and reviewed the necessary renovation requirements. Accompanied by Deputy Governor for Administrative Units Abdullah Al-Jamali, they heard a detailed explanation from club official Abdullah Al-Laswas about the rehabilitation needs for damaged facilities, the challenges facing the sports sector in the governorate, and plans to resume sports activities and tournaments. Minister Al-Mawlid emphasized the importance of rehabilitating sports projects to develop youth talents in various games, stressing the need to complete technical studies for all buildings damaged by the aggression that targeted the country's capabilities. Governor Idris affirmed his commitment to supporting youth and sports projects, directing the preparation of a study to rehabilitate and renovate buildings, the indoor hall, and stadiums in the sports city.
