Summer courses conclude in Bani Hashish, Bani Matar, Jahana & Sinhan, Sana'a
Sana'a - Saba: The activities of the summer courses, under the slogan "Knowledge and Jihad", were concluded in the districts of Bani Hashish, Bani Matar, Jahana and Sinhan in Sana'a province on Wednesday. At the closing ceremony in Bani Hashish district, in the presence of Shura Council member Mohammed Mufadl, the first deputy governor of the province, Hamid Asim, stressed the importance of the role of summer activities in immunizing young people from misleading and deviant cultures and the soft war led by America and global Zionism to target the children of the Islamic Ummah. He congratulated the students on their graduation from this year's summer courses, from which they gained knowledge and knowledge, were equipped with the guidance of God and the guidance of the Quran, and gained awareness, insight and useful knowledge. At the closing ceremony, which was attended by Taleb Dahan, deputy governor of the education and youth sector, director of the Youth and Sports Office Abdul Mohsen al-Sharif, director of the directorate Rajeh al-Hanami, and mobilization officer Walid al-Arkeda, Sabri al-Qahm, head of the executive committee for summer courses in the directorate, praised the success of the summer activities and the size of the turnout. The activities of the summer courses in the Jahana district were also concluded in the presence of Abdulmalik al-Gharbi, the governorate's deputy deputy governor, Ahmed Othman, and Amin al-Jalal, the deputy head of the educational sector in the governorate. During the closing ceremony, Ahmed Nasser, head of the executive committee of the summer courses in the directorate, emphasized the success of the summer courses in the directorate this year. Summer schools football championship concludes in Capital Secretariat
Sana'a - Saba: The Summer Schools Football Championship for district teams in the Capital Secretariat concluded on Wednesday at Al-Dharafi Stadium. The tournament, organized by the Youth and Sports Office of the Municipality, was part of the summer activities for the year 1446 AH. The final match was attended by Ali Hadhban, Deputy Minister of Youth for Sports Affairs, Abdullah Obaid, Director of the Youth and Sports Office in the Municipality, his deputy Zaid Jahaf, and several youth and sports leaders, along with a large crowd. The match featured a strong competition between the teams of Al-Tahrir and Bani Al-Harith districts, ending in a 1-1 draw in regular time. Al-Tahrir eventually secured the title by winning on penalties. Al-Tahrir district team was crowned champion of the tournament, which was held under the patronage of the Supreme Committee for Summer Activities and Courses, in cooperation with the Capital Municipality's Subcommittee and the Al-Shaab Social Development Foundation. The championship aimed to enhance the sports, educational, and cultural aspects of summer school students. At the end of the match, the winning teams were honored—Al-Tahrir as champions and Bani Al-Harith as runners-up. Additionally, the winners of the cultural competition were recognized, with Al-Sab'een district team taking first place, while Al-Ma'in and Al-Wahda district teams shared second place. Al-Mawlid, Idris inspect renovation requirements for Al-Bayda Youth Club Building
Al-Bayda - Saba: Youth and Sports Minister Dr. Mohammed Al-Mawlid and Al-Bayda Governor Abdullah Idris inspected the damage to Al-Bayda Youth Club building resulting from US-Saudi-Emirati aggression and reviewed the necessary renovation requirements. Accompanied by Deputy Governor for Administrative Units Abdullah Al-Jamali, they heard a detailed explanation from club official Abdullah Al-Laswas about the rehabilitation needs for damaged facilities, the challenges facing the sports sector in the governorate, and plans to resume sports activities and tournaments. Minister Al-Mawlid emphasized the importance of rehabilitating sports projects to develop youth talents in various games, stressing the need to complete technical studies for all buildings damaged by the aggression that targeted the country's capabilities. Governor Idris affirmed his commitment to supporting youth and sports projects, directing the preparation of a study to rehabilitate and renovate buildings, the indoor hall, and stadiums in the sports city. Sultan Team wins Yemeni Unity Football Cup in Taiz
Taiz - Saba: The Sultan team won the Yemeni Unity Football Cup, organized by the Youth and Sports Office in the province under the supervision of the local authority and mobilization, as part of summer activities. The Sultan team secured the cup after defeating Imam Ali bin Abi Talib Center team (Al-Jund) with a clean score of 5-0 in the match held today in celebration of the 35th National Day of the Republic of Yemen (May 22). At the conclusion of the match, Saeed Al-Sanafi, a member of the Subcommittee for Summer Activities and Courses, expressed his happiness at organizing the football event in honor of this cherished national occasion, which reinforces the spirit of unity in the minds of generations. He praised the role of the local authority in the province, which places great emphasis on sports and cultural activities in line with the directives of the Revolutionary Leadership, the Supreme Political Council, and the government's Change and Construction Program. Al-Ansar School Team in Bayda wins summer tournament league title
Bayda - Saba: Al-Ansar School for Quran Education in Bayda province won the city's Summer Tournament League title, organized by the Youth and Sports Office with the support of the Seventh Military Region and the Jihad Cultural Department. This came after al-Ansar School team defeated Abu Dhar al-Ghafari Center Closed School team, 6-4, in a match held on Saturday.
