Yukti Kapoor Shares Secrets To Staying Fit Amid Hectic Shooting Schedule

Published By : Yukti Kapoor from Maddam Sir reveals her fitness secrets: a positive mindset, regular workouts including yoga, and a balanced diet to stay energetic during long shoots. Yukti Kapoor, best known for her role in the 2020 comedy series Maddam Sir, often inspires fans to stay fit. Despite her hectic schedule, the actress follows a dedicated fitness routine and prioritises self-care. In a recent interview, Yukti shared her secret to staying fresh and energetic even with long hours of shooting. According to Yukti, being in a positive state of mind, working out regularly and following a nutritious diet are non-negotiable. Yukti Kapoor, in an interview with Times Entertainment, said, 'I always tell myself it's going to be a good day, which keeps my energy up. Your mindset really matters. I try to stay positive and remind myself to stay energetic. I believe that when I am happy from the inside, it shows outside too. I try to enjoy every scene I shoot. That happy attitude gives me energy to shoot for hours without feeling tired". Talking about her workout practices, Yukti Kapoor revealed that she recently added yoga in her well-being routine. The actress added that she wakes up early and performs yoga. It helps her to stay calm and focused, while also enhancing her flexibility. Yukti acknowledged that yoga was something that makes her feel fresh and active even on a packed shooting day. 'It all comes down to how you speak to yourself. I will instantly feel lazy if I convince myself that Sunday is a lazy day. However, I tell myself, 'I'm strong, I can do this,' before I go to work. I tell myself that I am strong, even in action scenarios. To be honest, it functions like magic. You underestimate the power of your mind," she said. Coming to her dietary habits, Yukti Kapoor admitted that she does not have 'any fixed diet chart". Elaborating on the topic, she said, 'For me, everything is about eating at the right time. I have two proper meals, one at 12 noon and one around 7 in the evening. That suits my body. But I enjoy my weekends. I eat whatever I fancy, especially simple homemade food like daal chawal. It is my comfort food." To overcome exhaustion, Yukti Kapoor recommends sipping on nimbu pani (lime water) that helps her keep hydrated. 'I have nimbu pani and electrolytes when I'm feeling weak or tired. It works wonders in keeping me fresh and avoiding dehydration, especially during shoot days when we work in hot weather or with intense lights," she explained. Yukti Kapoor takes her skincare seriously. 'Skincare requires discipline. I attempt to have a proper morning and evening routine. Previously, I'd sleep with makeup on when I was exhausted, but now I remove it before sleeping. I use homemade face packs, sheet masks, and plenty of moisturiser. I drink a lot of water as well and never miss sunscreen. These little things make a huge difference," she said. On a concluding note, Yukti Kapoor emphasised waking up every morning with positive thoughts, praying and letting her family know how much she loves them. Practicing kindness and gratitude, coupled with meditation, were also a part of her holistic wellness routine. view comments First Published: Disclaimer: Comments reflect users' views, not News18's. Why young Indians are paying to meet strangers

Why young Indians are paying to meet strangers TNN Updated: Jun 14, 2025, 19:30 IST From potlucks to themed house parties, a new wave of offline meetups is helping people forge real connections. Aziz walked into a restaurant in Mumbai unsure of what was on the menu — or who he'd be dining with. Fresh off a breakup and weighed down by exams, he had signed up for a dinner with five strangers through Timeleft , a Paris-based company curating meetups in cities across India and abroad, just to try something unfamiliar. That evening, Yukti, Parth, and Atit joined him — strangers from different backgrounds, each drawn by the same desire for a 'real, meaningful connection.' Over two hours, their conversation flowed from the polite 'What brings you here?' to tales of childhood mischief, travel disasters, and one near-kidnapping. 'It felt less like meeting strangers and more like rediscovering the joy of simply being human, offline,' they agreed.
