It's a big weekend in Hong Kong as concepts across our bar scene celebrate International Women's Day and Restaurant Week. On Friday, head over to Yurakucho – also involved in the latter event – to check out their Arcade Takeover with Beefeater. Across Hong Kong, check out Terrible Baby, Alibi – Wine Dine Be Social and The Pontiac for just three of the city's best guest shifts championing women's empowerment. Qura closes the weekend by hosting one of Taipei's best modern mixologists. Photo: Handout What: Singular Concept's expansive Singular Concept's expansive izakaya on Hollywood Road is hosting a video-game themed pop-up for those looking for a competitive night out in SoHo. Yurakucho is partnering with Beefeater Gin and Chivas Regal to serve cocktails like the Pacman (gin, umeshu, espresso) and Space Invader (whisky, matcha , coconut water, passion fruit). In between sipping their drinks, gamers can compete to see who has the best skills on four different classic arcade machines, each with their own leader boards! Photo: Handout What: This Saturday is International Women's Day and our bar scene looks to celebrate with guest shifts galore – there's one nearby no matter where you are. In Kowloon, Terrible Baby hosts London Essence ambassador Natalie Lau and Socio's Nishma Gurung alongside the bar's own Asta Chan. Alibi – Wine Dine be Social at the Cordis hotel in Mong Kok is hosting eight female leaders supported by Two Moons Distillery, including Campari's Hong Kong ambassador Delphine Kong, Intervals' Imelda Ng, co-founder of ohm … in Sham Shui Po, Kosa Law, and more. In SoHo, head to The Pontiac to witness six of Hong Kong's best women in bars alongside representatives from Dead Poets and The Savory Project.
