ZELIO launches facelifted Eeva scooter, price starts from ₹50,000
ZELIO E Mobility on Wednesday launched the facelifted Eeva with improvements in performance, comfort, and smart features , and priced it from ₹50,000. The electric scooter aims to cater to the mobility requirements of working professionals and gig economy riders. The updated Eeva is available in multiple battery configurations, including gel and Lithium-ion variants. Gel battery variants start at ₹50,000 for the 60V/32AH version with a range of 80 km, and ₹54,000 for the 72V/42AH variant with a 100 km range. The lithium-ion models are priced at ₹64,000 for the 60V/30AH version with a range of 90 to 100 km, and ₹69,000 for the 74V/32AH variant offering a range of 120 km. All variants deliver a top speed of 25 kmph and are powered by a 60/72V BLDC motor that consumes just 1.5 units of electricity per full charge. The upgraded Eeva scooter comes with a ground clearance of 150 mm, a gross weight of 85 kg, and a payload capacity of 150 kg. Charging time varies based on the battery type, with lithium-ion models taking approximately 4 hours, while gel variants require 8 to 10 hours. Safety is enhanced with drum brakes on both ends and 90/90 tyres on 12-inch wheels, while hydraulic shock absorbers ensure a smooth ride. In terms of smart features, the Eeva 2025 includes a digital display, daytime running lights (DRL), keyless drive, anti-theft alarm, parking gear, USB charging port, and a passenger footrest. The colour options include Blue, Grey, White, and Black. ZELIO offers a two-year warranty on the vehicle and a one-year warranty on all battery variants. Commenting on the launch, Kunal Arya, co-founder and MD of ZELIO E Mobility, said the updated Eeva reflects the company's focus on enhancing safety, comfort, and intelligent convenience while maintaining affordability.
