ZF Group wins key test bench orders, expands into Indian powertrain market
ZF Group
has secured major
test system orders
in India, marking its formal entry into the country's powertrain and
next-gen mobility
segment.
Among the major wins is India's first 440 KW differential unit test bench, featuring a 3E dyno setup with direct shaft connection to the device under test. This eliminates the need for intermediate gearboxes or chains, ensuring greater efficiency and precision, the official press release said.
ZF has also bagged orders for eight tyre test benches, including endurance, high-speed, and rolling resistance machines for R&D, as well as end-of-line testers for passenger car tyres. These systems will be delivered to leading Indian
tyre manufacturers
.
'This is a proud moment for ZF as we bring our advanced testing technology to India,' said Akash Passey, President, ZF Group India. 'These projects set a new benchmark and reaffirm our commitment to automotive innovation.'
The new systems will help manufacturers improve the quality, safety and performance of powertrain and tyre components, supporting India's push for safer, sustainable mobility, the company said.
