Commitment predictions: Krempin, Tucker, McCoy
Nick Lucero/ Rivals national recruiting analyst Sam Spiegelman makes commitment predictions that should please a trio of SEC schools. BIG RECRUITING WEEKEND AHEAD: Top storylines | Five biggest Southeast visits in June | Biggest Midwest visits | Biggest Florida visits | Biggest West Coast visits CLASS OF 2026 RANKINGS: Rivals250 | Team | Position | State CLASS OF 2027 RANKINGS: Rivals250 | Team | Position | State TRANSFER PORTAL: Full coverage | Player ranking | Team ranking | Transfer search | Transfer Tracker RIVALS CAMP SERIES: Rivals Five-Star heading back to Indy | Rivals Five-Star roster | Schedule/info 1. Zaden Krempin to LSU The Tigers made a splash with four-star OT Zaden Krempin during the first official visit weekend of the summer and closed the gap significantly with the Longhorns at the top of this recruitment. Advertisement I've moved my FutureCast over to LSU for the Rivals250 OL from Prosper (Texas) after the Tigers' surge with Krempin over the weekend. SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS WITH LSU FANS AT 2. Emanuel Tucker to Ole Miss Hours after officially visiting Ole Miss, four-star in-state OT Emanuel Tucker reopened his recruitment. Tucker heads to LSU this weekend and is still in line to see Mississippi State on June 20, but this will boil down to the Rebels and Tigers for the Rivals250 OL. My prediction is sitting on Ole Miss, which moved the needle in a big way with the touted OL and his family in Oxford last weekend. Advertisement SHARE YOUR THOUGHTS WITH OLE MISS FANS AT 3. JaReylan McCoy to Florida It's a two-team race at the top for Rivals250 DE JaReylan McCoy, who returned to the Swamp for an official visit last weekend and told Rivals he wished it could have lasted even longer. Florida is battling Texas head to head in this one, and we logged a prediction for Billy Napier and the Gators with the touted DL target. McCoy will reveal his decision on July 1. Michigan football targets 4-star Texas OL Zaden Krempin in 2026 recruiting push
Michigan football might only have five commitments in the 2026 class thus far, but it's working hard on the recruiting trail. With a bevy of official visits slated to begin at the end of this month, the upcoming class is about to start heating up. The Wolverines got two commitments late last month in four-star quarterback Brady Smigiel and three-star edge rusher Tariq Boney. With the series of visitors set to arrive in Ann Arbor every weekend starting May 30, the question is: who's next? Michigan makes top group for coveted offensive lineman The Wolverines already have one offensive line commitment in 2026 in lifelong Alabama fan Bear McWhorter, the three-star interior offensive lineman, spurning the Crimson Tide for the maize and blue. But Michigan has been hot and heavy after another IOL. Advertisement 2026 Prosper (Tx.) four-star Zaden Krempin has long had the Wolverines at or near the top, and now it's official: Michigan football is in his top four, released on Friday. With Texas, Texas A&M, and LSU involved, it'll be tough sledding for the maize and blue to lure Krempin out of his footprint. SMU was thought to be a factor, but it appears as if the Mustangs are eliminated. Ratings and scouting report Krempin is a four-star across the board with Rivals being the highest on him at No. 176 overall. The On3 Industry Ranking has him listed as the No. 222 player, the 18th-best offensive lineman, and the 31st-ranked player in the state of Texas. Advertisement A track and field star as well, Krempin competes in both the shot put and the discus. He is slated to officially visit as last, on June 20, after he's seen his other finalists.
