Guernsey lost to Papua New Guinea by six wickets in a close T20 encounter at the KGV. The game was the first between the sides and comes as the Papuans prepare to travel to Jersey next week for the ICC Challenge League first, Guernsey made 165-6 from their 20 overs as Tom Nightingale hit 75 while Zak Damarell got 45. In reply, the visitors reached 168-4 to win with four balls to spare as Charlie Forshaw took three wickets. The two sides will face one another in 50-over matches at the KGV on Saturday and Sunday.
