Atifi & Al-Bishri inaugurate Eid clothing exhibition for 2,000 children in Al-Mina district, Hodeida
Hodeida - Saba: Al-Hodeida Governor Abdullah Atifi and First Deputy Governor Ahmed Al-Bishri inaugurated the Eid Clothing Exhibition for needy children in Al-Mina directorate in the city square as part of humanitarian efforts to alleviate the suffering of poor families. The exhibition targets 2,000 boys and girls from poor and needy families, funded by the General Authority for Zakat and Philanthropists, and implemented by the Ithar Al-Khair Social Development Foundation. For his part, Al-Bishri considered Eid clothing project a model of humanitarian work. He praised the efforts of all parties involved in organizing and supporting the exhibition. Mohammed Halisi, Undersecretary for Services Affairs, explained that this exhibition promotes solidarity among the members of the community. Zakat Commission office sponsors 15 prisoners & financiers release in Taiz
Taiz - Saba: In Taiz province, 15 prisoners and financiers were released on Tuesday from the Central Reformatory, the Reserve, the Court of Appeals and the Prosecution, whose financial obligations amounted to 40 million and 850 thousand riyals, which were paid by the Zakat Commission office in the province. During the release, in the presence of the director of the office of the director of the Zakat Commission in the province, Khaled Al-Jaradi, the director of the banking department of the Zakat Commission in the province, Bashir Al-Dubiani, explained that the release comes in implementation of the revolutionary and political leadership directives , the leaders of the Zakat Commission and the local authority in the province, to release deserving prisoners who meet the conditions on the occasion of Ramadan. He pointed out that the zakat is being paid today to its beneficiaries within its eight banks, calling on businessmen and philanthropists to help the insolvent by taking the initiative and quickly paying their zakat on their money to the Authority to disburse it according to the legitimate banks. For his part, Mubarak Al-Junaid, head of the Gharmin Section at the Zakat Commission's office in the province, pointed out that the release came within several different programs, including the "release" program for those with criminal cases, the "release" program for sick cases from hospitals, and the "release" program for those with civil cases. Zakat Office in Dhamar organizes media meeting to launch economic empowerment program
Dhamar - Saba: The office of the General Authority for Zakat in Dhamar Governorate organized a meeting for media representatives, writers and activists to prepare for the launch of the economic empowerment program "Vocational integration into the labor market and disbursement of vocational bags" scheduled for tomorrow, Sunday. The meeting reviewed the programs of the economic empowerment project implemented by the Authority and its stages in building capacities and providing capabilities for the target groups of the project according to the Zakat banks, in addition to its importance in combating poverty, supplying the labor market with qualified professional cadres in various specialties, as well as its role in forming small income-generating projects. In the meeting, the director of the Zakat Commission office in the governorate, Ibrahim Al-Mutawakel, referred to the efforts of the commission and the projects it implements in various fields, and the successes achieved in the zakat banks compared to the previous situation. He stressed that the distribution of vocational bags for 430 beneficiaries who completed the theoretical and practical training phase will be launched tomorrow, Sunday, in 13 training programs within the framework of the economic empowerment project implemented in cooperation with the technical and vocational training sector.
