Sitaare Zameen Par has finally been released in theatres and has been performing decently over the weekend. Ahead of its premiere, the makers organised a star-studded screening which marked the presence of big names like Salman Khan, Shah Rukh Khan and others. Many veteran actors like Shatrughan Sinha and Jeetendra were also present. Days after the screening, Shatrughan Sinha posted some exclusive glimpses and praised Aamir Khan's movie and performance.

Sitaare Zameen Par is a sports comedy-drama with Aamir Khan and Genelia Deshmukh starring as the lead. This upcoming film is an official adaptation of the Spanish film Champions and a spiritual sequel to Khan's critically acclaimed 2007 film Taare Zameen Par. The film marks the Hindi film debuts of Aroush Datta, Gopi Krishna Varma, Samvit Desai, Vedant Sharma, Ayush Bhansali, Ashish Pendse, Rishi Shahani, Rishabh Jain, Naman Mishra and Simran Mangeshkar. Divy Nidhi Sharma wrote the screenplay, Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy composed the music and Srinivas Reddy shot the visuals.
Furthermore, Aamir Khan has decided not to sell the film's OTT rights to any platform. Instead, he has committed to an exclusive theatrical release, hoping to return people to the big screen while conserving the collective cinematic experience. Interestingly, the film has collected about Rs 66.65 crore.
