Sushasan Ka Encounter: DNA Analysis Of Bihars Deteriorating Law And Order Situation
New Delhi: When criminals start walking into hospitals with guns, and walk out after committing murder, not hiding their faces, not rushing their escape, it's no longer just a law and order issue. It becomes a frontal assault on the very idea of governance. In today's DNA, Rahul Sinha, Managing Editor of Zee News, analysed how "good governance is lying in the ICU" in Bihar, after yet another chilling murder rocked the state capital. The incident in question took place not on the streets but inside the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of Patna's prestigious Paras Hospital. In a brazen act that exposed the collapse of law and order, five armed shooters stormed into the ICU and gunned down a man in cold blood. The victim, Chandan Mishra, was a known history-sheeter. The attackers not only fired multiple shots inside a high-security hospital but also walked out casually, unfazed, as if they had no fear of the police or consequences. #ZeeLive #ZeeNews #DNAWithRahulSinha @RahulSinhaTV — Zee News (@ZeeNews) July 17, 2025 The murder, which took place in broad daylight, has raised serious questions about the state of policing in Bihar, a state already battling headlines over rising crime. Ironically, just hours before this crime, Bihar ADG Kundan Krishnan made a controversial statement blaming the spike in criminal activities on 'free farmers' during off-season months. He suggested that between April and June, when agricultural work is minimal, crime in Bihar increases, an explanation now facing ridicule from opposition leaders and citizens alike. Reacting sharply, Tejashwi Yadav mocked the logic behind the police officer's theory, while Bihar's Deputy CM Vijay Sinha gave the usual assurance, 'criminals will be caught.' But the core question remains: If criminals can openly commit murder inside a VIP hospital in the heart of the capital, and walk away freely, who is really in control? The Zee News team visited several locations across Patna to observe the alertness of the police, only to find constables lounging in towels and vests, far from battle-ready. If this is the level of alertness in Patna, one wonders what the situation is in smaller towns and villages. The family of Chandan Mishra has already named one of the shooters, Tausif Badshah, and claims to recognize the others as well. Yet, as of now, there have been no arrests, and fear among common citizens is growing. So today, the bigger question DNA raises is this: Are fearless criminals now writing the rulebook in Bihar? Is the Bihar Police being challenged right under its nose, and if yes, why is there such little urgency in the system?

Why Jaishankar's Visit To China Matters Amid Global Tensions- DNA Decorded
Amid rising global tensions and former US President Donald Trump's aggressive stance against BRICS nations, including proposed 10 per cent tariffs, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar's visit to Beijing has gained strategic significance. This visit comes five years after the Galwan clash and follows heightened distrust after Operation Sindoor, where India accused China of backing Pakistan. Jaishankar first met Chinese Vice President Han Zheng, who highlighted PM Modi and President Xi Jinping's 2023 Kazan meeting as a fresh start in bilateral ties. Han advocated high-level cooperation and mutual sensitivity, even using the symbolic term 'Dragon-Elephant Dance' to promote Indo-China collaboration. However, India has made it clear: trust needs action. During his meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, Jaishankar emphasised zero tolerance for terrorism and urged China to stop shielding Pakistan-sponsored terrorists at the UN. He also raised LAC tensions, rare earth metal exports which means India relies on China for 80 per cent of key minerals used in electronics. Jaishankar demanded lifting export barriers impacting India's production capacity. Jaishankar also stated that stable India-China ties benefit the world but cooperation is meaningless if China restricts exports and supports hostile nations. India recently hardened its stance on Tibet and the Dalai Lama, prompting Chinese unease. Just before Jaishankar's visit, Beijing warned that the Dalai Lama's succession is a sticking point. Meanwhile, China and Pakistan's plan to form a new SAARC without India was foiled by Nepal, which insisted on India's inclusion. That, too, signalled regional backing for India.

What Is Operation Kaalnemi And Why Uttarakhand Is Cracking Down On Sadhus? DNA Explains
In a significant move aimed at ensuring the safety of devotees and upholding the sanctity of the Kanwar Yatra, the Uttarakhand government has launched a new security initiative called Operation Kaalnemi. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami made the announcement, stating that the operation will be active throughout the holy month of Sawan. The operation is designed to identify and take action against imposters and criminals disguising themselves as sadhus (Hindu ascetics) — a trend that has been increasingly observed in recent years. Special police teams in civilian clothes will patrol key areas where large numbers of sadhus set up temporary camps. If any individual is found committing fraud, theft, or any other crime under the guise of a sadhu, they will face strict legal consequences. In today's DNA, Rahul Sinha, Managing Editor, of Zee News, analysed the reason behind Uttarakhand's move: Watch Full DNA Episode Here: दिल्ली की बारिश पर 'नेताओं की रिपोर्टिंग'! बिहार में वोटर लिस्ट पर कोर्ट के फैसले का विश्लेषण क्या ट्रंप पर ड्रोन अटैक कराएगा खलीफा? देखिए #DNA LIVE Rahul Sinha के साथ#ZeeLive #ZeeNews #DNAWithRahulSinha @RahulSinhaTV — Zee News (@ZeeNews) July 10, 2025 Over the years, there have been multiple instances in Uttarakhand where individuals dressed as sadhus have cheated or misled devotees, often targeting women by offering false promises of spiritual fulfilment or miraculous blessings. In several cases, locals have caught such imposters, who turned out to be thieves or con artists rather than spiritual seekers. The name 'Operation Kaalnemi' is rooted in Hindu mythology, particularly the Ramayana. Kaalnemi was a demon sent by Ravana to mislead Lord Hanuman while he was on his way to fetch the life-saving Sanjeevani herb. Using his magical powers, Kaalnemi tried to trick Hanuman by disguising himself as a sage, but Hanuman saw through the deception and ultimately killed him. Drawing from this symbolism, the operation aims to "end the deception of modern-day Kaalnemis", just as Hanuman did in the epic. The use of this name underscores the intent: to protect the spiritual integrity of the pilgrimage and uphold the honour of the sadhu tradition by rooting out imposters. What CM Dhami Said? In a post on X, Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said pseudo-disguised individuals will not be spared in the state. "In Devbhoomi Uttarakhand, strict instructions have been given to officials to launch Operation Kalanemi against pseudo-disguised individuals who deceive people and toy with their sentiments under the guise of Sanatan Dharma," he said. Dhami further said that several cases have come to light in the state where anti-social elements, disguised as sadhus and saints, have been engaging in deceiving people, especially women. "This not only hurts people's religious sentiments but also damages the image of social harmony and the Sanatan tradition. In such cases, if any person of any religion is found committing such acts, strict action will be ensured against them," said the CM. He further added, "Just as the demon Kalanemi disguised himself as a sadhu to deceive others, today many 'Kalanemis' are active in society, committing crimes under the garb of religious attire. Our government is fully committed to protecting public sentiments, preserving the dignity of Sanatan culture, and maintaining social harmony. Those who spread hypocrisy in the name of faith will not be spared under any circumstances." Strong Support From Sant Community The initiative has received widespread support from the Hindu ascetic community, which believes that such a step is necessary to protect the dignity of genuine saints and spiritual leaders. "Sadhus are a symbol of Sanatan Dharma. Those who misuse this identity for crime and fraud deserve to be punished," one senior sadhu remarked. With millions of devotees expected to participate in the Kanwar Yatra this year, Operation Kaalnemi is seen as a proactive step toward ensuring both spiritual purity and public safety.

Germanys Air Defence System Deal With Pakistan Exposes Wests Double Standard On Terrorism
A recent report has sparked controversy over Germany's deal to supply Pakistan with IRIS-T air defence systems. This move contradicts Germany's earlier stance on terrorism, where it acknowledged India's right to self-defence after the Pulwama attack. The IRIS-T system can detect and destroy aerial targets within a range of 12-80 km, with missiles travelling at Mach 3 speed. Pakistan's interest in this system stems from its performance in the Ukraine war, where it successfully intercepted supersonic missiles. In today's DNA, Rahul Sinha, managing editor of Zee News exposes west's double standard on terrorism. This development raises questions about Germany's double standards, as it has previously fought terrorism in Syria but now supplies arms to a country known for harbouring terrorist groups. In 2009, Germany lifted its arms embargo on Pakistan, allowing the sale of military equipment like pistols, small rockets, and radar devices. However, after the Pulwama attack, Germany seems to have found a new business partner in Pakistan. This arms deal has sparked concerns about Germany's priorities and its stance on terrorism. As the international community watches, Germany's actions appear to be driven more by business interests than a commitment to combating terrorism.

Are Muslims A Threat To Japan? Surge In Population Altering...Protest Erupt Over...Identity Crisis Looms...
In Indian culture, guests are considered deities. In Japan, the word Omotenashi is used for guests, meaning to welcome them with warmth and respect. However, in Japan today, public anger against Muslims, particularly Kurdish immigrants, is evident on the streets. This means a major campaign against Muslims is currently underway in Japan. The images you're seeing are from Japan's Saitama Prefecture. Thousands of people, carrying Japanese flags, have taken to the streets against Kurds. We want to clarify that Kurds are not native to Japan; they are people from Turkey, Iraq, and Syria, mostly Sunni Muslims. When persecution against Kurds increased in these countries, Japan showed humanitarianism by granting them visa exemptions. Following this, the Kurdish population in Kawaguchi and Warabi in Southern Saitama continuously grew. The Kawaguchi and Warabi areas effectively became a "mini-Kurdistan." As the population grew, the fear of Kurds in these areas also increased, leading peace-loving native Japanese people to take to the streets to protect their homeland. Protests demanding the expulsion of Sunni Kurds from Japan have been ongoing since 2023, fueled by years of pent-up anger. In January 2024, some Kurdish individuals were accused of sexually assaulting a Japanese woman. One suspect in this case was later accused of sexually assaulting a 12-year-old girl. In September 2024, an unlicensed Kurdish driver ran over and killed two Japanese motorcyclists. In 2023, 69 Kurds were arrested in Japan for criminal offenses, representing 6% of all foreigners arrested for crimes. This means 6 out of every 100 criminals were found to be Kurdish. The increasing involvement of Kurds in crime has exhausted the patience of Japanese people, leading to calls for their expulsion from Japan. The root of native Japanese anger is not just crime, but also an anxiety about preserving their cultural identity. In 2005, the Muslim population in Japan was 110,000. By 2023, the Muslim population had grown to 350,000. In 18 years, the Muslim population in Japan has tripled. We also want to mention that about 48% of Japan's population follows Shintoism, which is Japan's indigenous religion. Around 46% follow Buddhism, and the remaining 5% follow other religions, including Christianity, Islam, Judaism, and Hinduism. Although the number of Muslims in Japan's total population is small, the rapid growth of the Muslim population has increased concerns among native Japanese about their culture.
