Huddersfield man appears in court over attempted murder charge
A man has appeared in court charged with attempted murder in Khawaja, 41, is accused of trying to kill Zeeshan Kiani on Alder Street, Fartown on Kiani, 33, suffered serious injuries and continues to recover in hospital, a spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police a brief hearing at Leeds Magistrates' Court on Saturday, Mr Khawaja, of Alder Street, was remanded in custody ahead of a pre-trial and preparation hearing at the city's crown court on 5 September.
