'The Art of the Deal' by Donald Trump, or the art of capitalizing on a bestseller

On April 9, journalists at the White House tried to decipher the 90-day pause on tariffs decided by Donald Trump. The young presidential spokesperson, Karoline Leavitt, grew frustrated hearing talk of backtracking. "Many of you in the media clearly missed The Art of the Deal..." Referring to the book as the bible of a president who thinks only in terms of transactions has become a mark of allegiance. Bill Ackman, a billionaire and staunch supporter, praised the tariff backtrack as "textbook, Art of the Deal." Each of the president's strategies, including his reversals, is said to be theorized in this work published in 1987. "It's as if The Art of the Deal has become the modern equivalent of Sun Tzu's The Art of War or Machiavelli's The Prince," joked French journalist Philippe Corbé, an expert of the US, in his newsletter Zeitgeist.

Steven Galanis Launches Zeitgeist Podcast

Cameo Founder Explores How Brands Break into Culture CHICAGO, May 15, 2025 /PRNewswire/ -- Steven Galanis, the co-founder CEO of Cameo, today announced the launch of Zeitgeist, a new podcast that dives deep into the stories of brands that didn't just find customers—they found cultural relevance. Through candid conversations with founders, marketers, and creative minds, Zeitgeist unpacks how everyday products become emotional touchpoints, memes, movements, and modern necessities. From personal care staples like butt wipes and reusable water bottles to seemingly boring products like insurance, Galanis explores what it takes to create something that doesn't just sell, but sticks. Over the years, Galanis' journey at Cameo introduced him to a vast network of people who've built iconic brands by tapping into something bigger than marketing: the culture of the customer they're dying to reach. Zeitgeist brings those stories to life, focusing on the inflection points, bold pivots, and make-or-break moments that propelled products from obscurity into the mainstream. "Building Cameo taught me that it's not just about building a company—it's about creating a feeling," said Galanis. "I wanted to talk to other people who've done that: who've made the leap from product to phenomenon." The podcast keeps it raw and real—no corporate buzzwords, just honest stories about smart risks, scrappy ideas, and lightning-in-a-bottle moments that helped brands breakthrough. Listeners can expect stories behind cult-favorite apparel companies, internet-famous wellness brands, and unlikely products that are now household essentials. The first episode of Zeitgeist is now available, with a 10-episode first season set to release over the summer. Episodes will be available on YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts. About Zeitgeist Zeitgeist is a show about the unexpected rise of everyday brands. Hosted by Steven Galanis, each episode unpacks the journey behind products that went from niche to necessary—not because of flashy ads, but because they struck a cultural nerve. From overlooked categories to household names, the podcast digs into the thinking, timing, and instincts that turn ordinary ideas into iconic ones. Zeitgeist offers a front-row seat to the brands shaping how we live. About Steven GalanisSteven Galanis is a Chicago-based entrepreneur and co-founder of Cameo, a marketplace connecting fans with personalized video shoutouts from celebrities. Cameo is the biggest digital marketplace for personalities like actors, athletes, musicians, comedians, and creators to connect with fans all over the world. Being a parent in the public eye means every detail - from outfit choices to pram picks - is under scrutiny. And when it comes to baby gear, celebrity parents aren't just going for function. They're picking items that are luxurious, stylish, and Instagram-worthy. Whether they're being papped on the school run or sharing tender moments at home on social media, stars are turning baby essentials into full-blown fashion statements. From the pushchair of choice for Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright's newborn, to the high chair that's earned a place in Royal kitchens, these brands have become the go-to for modern parenting with a side of glamour. Whether you're expecting, gifting, or just a fan of celebrity style, these are the baby buys that stars are loving right now. 1. Artipoppe Baby Carrier – The luxe sling you've seen everywhere When it comes to celebrity baby gear, there's one item that's got everyone talking - and we're not just talking about mums here. The Artipoppe Zeitgeist baby carrier has become the parenting accessory for A-listers, royals, and new parents everywhere, reports the Mirror. It's kind of like the Chanel handbag of the baby world - ridiculously pretty, not exactly cheap and instantly recognisable. This baby carrier has been seen on everyone from Gigi Hadid and Kylie Jenner to Emily Ratajkowski, Chrissy Teigen and even Princess Eugenie. It's safe to say this carrier has serious star power. If you've been scrolling Instagram wondering how these celebs are managing to look effortlessly stylish while wearing a baby, nine times out of ten it's because they're rocking one of these. So what's the big deal? Well, first of all, they're stunning. With bold prints, luxury fabrics (yes, even cashmere and silk) and designs that look more fashion runway than nursery aisle, it's easy to see why they're a top choice. The carrier comes in a whole rainbow of prints - leopard, houndstooth, and chic muted tones - and prices range from around £300 to upwards of £3,000 for the really luxe versions. Not exactly budget-friendly, but if the reviews are anything to go by, definitely worth splashing out on. But it's not just a pretty face. The Zeitgeist is actually super practical too. It's designed to support your baby in all the right places and it's comfy for you as well - something that's surprisingly hard to find in the babywearing world. You can wear your little one facing in, out, or on your back, and the adjustable straps mean it grows with them (and with you - no one tells you how often you'll be switching between outfits and post-baby body stages!). Even better? Loads of mums rave about how easy it is to breastfeed in. Shop the Zeitgeist baby carrier for £370 2. iCandy Peach 7 Coco Pushchair – Michelle Keegan's pram of choice Michelle Keegan and Mark Wright recently took their newborn for a city stroll in style.
