Zhang Ziyi shares photos with kids on Children's Day
4 Jun - It's been a while since Zhang Ziyi shared photos of her two kids, which made it a surprise to fans when she decided to post several images of her with her daughter and son on Weibo recently. On 1 June, the actress took to Weibo to commemorate the International Children's Day by sharing nine never-before-seen photos of her and her 9-year-old daughter Xingxing, and her 5-year-old son, whose name she never shared. She posted, "Every day spent with children is a gift from God... companionship is the best gift for children. Happy holidays my children, may your childhood be as colourful as a rainbow. Grow up healthy and happy." While Zhang happily shared photos of Xingxing with her face exposed, she seemed more protective of her son, whose photos she picked only revealed his back or the side of his face. Zhang tied the knot with rock singer Wang Feng back in 2015. The couple welcomed their first daughter together soon after, followed by their son in 2020. The couple ended their marriage in 2023. Spotted at high-speed train station A few days after the awards show, a netizen posted the video online, saying that he ran into Zhang Ziyi at the high-speed railway station. The 45-year-old had just completed a tribute segment with Jackie Chan and Wang Yibo when the incident occurred. As the three stars exited the stage, Zhang – walking behind the others – tripped over exposed wires near the edge and fell. Footage from the event showed staff and attendees quickly coming to her aid. On April 29, Zhang was spotted at a Beijing high-speed rail station in a wheelchair. Dressed in black and wearing a mask and sunglasses, she tried to remain low-profile but was recognised by onlookers. The footage quickly went viral, prompting widespread concern. Her team later confirmed that she had received medical attention and is now resting. While the extent of her injuries has not been revealed, she is expected to make a full recovery. Zhang is one of China's most acclaimed actresses, best known internationally for her roles in Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon and Memoirs Of A Geisha .
