Taking issue with Charu's remarks and frequent mentions of his name, Rajeev retaliated in a new video, claiming she was portraying him negatively. 'You are enjoying bad comments about me and most of them are paid PR, we all know that. That's why I was worried that no one misuses the money," he said, indicating concerns over financial matters related to alimony or his daughter's expenses. Addressing Charu directly, Rajeev stated, 'You gave so many interviews against me and I didn't say anything, now I won't stay quiet anymore." He further countered her previous claims that he was absent during her pregnancy. 'She accused me of not being with her during the pregnancy, that's not the case. I was there with her. I have vlogs to prove it. She was the one running away from me. Don't say that I was gone for 4 months, that's not true." Charu, in an earlier video, defended her position, stating she has never prevented Rajeev from meeting their daughter. 'I have never stopped you from meeting your daughter. I might have said that please change the time or adjust your plans but I never refused," she said. She also emphasised maintaining ties with Rajeev's family, saying, 'I have been cordial with his family and maintained all relationships with his side of the family as she believes that it is essential for their daughter to grow up in a harmonious family." Despite their divorce, the two have appeared together at various family gatherings and taken vacations with Ziana. Both insist that these efforts are made solely for the well-being of their daughter.
