IV of Spades explores themes of mental health, heartbreak in new single 'Nanaman'

IV of Spades dropped another surprise track! It's called 'Nanaman,' and in it, the band explores themes of heartbreak and how it affects you mentally. Written and sung by guitarist Blaster Silonga, he goes, 'Nanaman, nanaman, ako'y walang kalaban laban. Nanaman, nanaman, ako'y nawawala na sa katinuan.' The song's melody is also reminiscent of IV of Spades' signature fusion of disco and Manila Sound. In the official music video, the guys play the song in a studio space. IV of Spades made a surprise comeback in July with the single 'Aura.' It featured the complete members, Zild Benitez, Blaster Silonga, Badjao de Castro, and Unique Salonga. They performed the song live for the first time on 'All-Out Sundays' last weekend. In 2018, vocalist Unique left the band and has since had a solo career. In 2020, the remaining members of IV of Spades announced that they will be taking a break to pursue personal interests.
