Kurnool SP cautions unemployed youth against job fraudsters
Kurnool Superintendent of Police Vikrant Patil on Monday cautioned unemployed youth against falling prey to fraudsters who collect money on the pretext of providing jobs.
The SP received several complaints from youngsters regarding job frauds during the weekly Public Grievance Redressal System (PGRS) held in Kurnool on Monday (July 14). Mr. Patil received 102 complaints from people on the occasion.
A few youngsters from Kurnool and Nandyal complained that one Prasanth Babu from Veldurthi collected ₹1 lakh each from more than 20 persons promising jobs as computer faculty, attender, cook, watchman or a sweeper in the Zilla Parishad High Schools in the two districts under the Vidyanjali 2.0 scheme and also gave them appointment orders in the name of KASS Foundation and duped them.
Similarly, another youngster from Indira Gandhi Nagar in Kurnool town complained that a person from Venkataramana Colony Rajasekhar Reddy duped him in the name of a government job.
The SP directed the police to resolve the grievances received during the PGRS as per the provisions of law.
In Nandyal district, additional superintendent of police (administration) N. Yugandhar Babu received 130 petitions as part of PGRS.
