Zoe Saldana is a 'sucker' for lip plumpers

Zoe Saldana is a "sucker" for lip plumpers. The Hollywood actress has confessed she loves products which claim to pump up your pout and she usually keeps at least "four or five" lip glosses in her hand bag at all times. When asked to list the contents of her purse, she told The Hollywood Reporter: "[There's] at least four or five lip glosses. In the early 2000s and I was introduced to lip plumpers. I am a sucker for them. "I love anything that makes my lips feel tingly! And moisturizer. California can be a really dry place. We love the sun, but there's the perils of sunny California means that your lips are sometimes on the dry side. I like to have a variation of a moisturizer." Zoe previously revealed one of her favourite lip products is the Laneige Lip Sleeping Mask. In a video filmed for Vogue India, she explained: "My lips are always chapped so right now I'm using a really good lip balm." In the clip, Zoe showed the contents of her purse and revealed her must-have perfume is Carnal Flower by Dominique Ropion and she keeps it with her by carrying sample sprays wherever she goes. Zoe explained: "Carnal Flower has been my scent for many, many years and because I can't be carrying a big vase of it, I tend to just have these little samples in all of my bags and all of my coats because I always think I stink." She also revealed she carries a tube of hand cream with her at all times as well as a bottle of hair oil, blaming the hot California weather for drying out her tresses. Zoe also told fans she carries two concealer products and two eye creams with her because her eyes can sometimes be "a little dry", adding: "That is very bothersome so I have the night [eye cream] and the day cream".

Zoe Saldana refusing to give smart phones to her twins

Zoe Saldana is refusing to give smart phones to her 10-year-old twins. The Hollywood actress is mother to 10-year-old sons Cy and Bowie - as well as their younger brother Zen, eight - with her husband Marco Perego and she's revealed the elder boys have been pestering her for smart phones but she's refusing to give in to their demands. Zoe told The Hollywood Reporter: "The phone has become a conversation with the 10-year-olds right now. "And we're okay with repeating the big sermon: 'You will have it eventually, but right now, everything that you may need that comes from a phone, we can provide'. "My kids right now, they're going through a period where, yes, they'll talk about it, but when we do give them the phone, they just want to look at their baby pictures." Zoe - who stars in new advertising campaign for T-Mobile - went on to admit she isn't great with technology herself and only cares about whether a phone has a good camera. She added: "My husband is a lot more [tech] savvy than I am, and my sister is too ... Honestly, I'm boring! "But I love when my phones have a good camera because I am all about capturing moments in my life. In the commercial, I kept talking about the iPhone 16, and they were super kind enough to give me a phone. "So I told them, I don't know the difference between any of 'em, but I do want you guys to get me the one that has the best camera." It comes after Zoe recently revealed she's glad the Hollywood awards season is over so she can spent more time with her young family. She was a regular on the red carpet at the star of the year as she promoted her movie 'Emilia Perez' and she went on to win the Best Actress in a Supporting Role Oscar for the part, but Zoe admitted she wanted some time off at the end of the run. Zoe told E! News: "I would like to take my kids to school and pick them up. And I would want them to finish this school year with their mama by their side because they are so resilient, and they have been backing me up along with my husband this entire campaign. "But I miss my children like I miss air, like I miss water, and I just can't wait to come to school.'

Alexander Skarsgard, Zoe Saldana, and Co. Join Cartier in Stockholm for a High Jewelry Affair

Cartier feted the debut of its newest high jewelry collection, En Equilibre, in Stockholm last night. The collection showcased the jewelry house's approach to balance: no overwhelming metalwork, space for the impressive stones to breathe in the designs, and a purposeful use of color and form to accentuate and complement each element of the pieces. Another surprising element was the stone room, which showcased a selection of exceptional stones not yet made into a jewelry piece. Suggested designs sat alongside the gems, but the final creations will ultimately be up to the client and whichever paraibas, corals, sapphires, diamonds, or emeralds she, or he, desires. Friends of the house Zoe Saldana and Deepika Padukone both wore impressive pieces from the collection, Padukone opting for a necklace with a 58.08-carat cabochon sapphire center stone surrounded by a rippling of diamonds, and Saldana, a more colorful set of emeralds and spinels. Shogun actress Anna Sawai dazzled in a rubelite and diamond set, while local guest Alexander Skarsgard, fresh from the Cannes Film Festival where his outfits were the talk of the town, chose a brooch pinned at his shirt collar—a hunk of yellow beryl in the paws of the Cartier panthère. All four seemed happy to engage with the global media in attendance.

Deepika Padukone dazzles in red at high jewellery event in Stockholm amid 'Spirit' controversy

Bollywood actor Deepika Padukone made a striking appearance at the Cartier High Jewellery event in Stockholm, Sweden. Looking elegant, Padukone stole the spotlight as she attended the event in a stunning red outfit, complemented by Cartier's exquisite high jewellery collection. She styled her hair slick and open, adorned with statement jewellery from the brand's exclusive collection. Her appearance at the gala was shared with other global personalities, including Hollywood star Zoe Saldana. Padukone shared a glimpse of her look on Instagram, captioning the post with, "Hej from Stockholm!" View this post on Instagram A post shared by दरिा रादण (@deepikapadukone) Her appearance at the event comes amid ongoing speculation surrounding her involvement in the film Spirit. Filmmaker Sandeep Reddy Vanga recently stirred controversy with a cryptic post on social media that many believe was aimed at Padukone. In his post, Vanga expressed frustration about a "broken unsaid NDA" and alleged a betrayal of trust, writing, "When I narrate a story to an actor, I place 100 per cent faith. There is an unsaid NDA between us. But by doing this, you've 'DISCLOSED' the person that you are..." The director's words were widely interpreted as a reference to the actress, who had reportedly stepped away from the project. He further added, "Putting down a younger actor and ousting my story? Is this what your feminism stands for? As a filmmaker, I put years of hard work behind my craft & for me, filmmaking is everything. You didn't get it. You won't get it. You will never get it." Shortly after the rumours of Padukone's exit began circulating, the filmmakers confirmed that Dimri would step into the role. Dimri, who previously starred in Vanga's Animal, expressed her gratitude on social media and said, "Still sinking in... So grateful to be trusted with this journey. Thank you @ to be a part of your vision."

Cannes goes kinky! 'Fetish fashion' takes over red carpet as stars don their finest leather looks amid film festival's crackdown on 'naked' outfits

Movie stars have brought A-list fashion to the red carpet on the Cote d'Azur during this year's Cannes Film Festival - but as the organisers have implemented a dress code crackdown, an unexpected trend has emerged. In a first for the festival, a wave of celebrities appeared at premieres and photocalls donning their finest leather garments - whether in statement boots, biker jackets or full frocks. From Alexander Skarsgard's eyebrow-raising thigh-high 'fetish boots' to Zoe Saldana pairing her black gown with a biker jacket and Nicole Kidman in a corseted leather top, the celebs have truly embraced the divisive material on the traditionally formal Cannes red carpet. Skarsgård has taken a leaf out of Margot Robbie 's style book by 'method dressing' throughout the festival, wearing outfits that match the theme of his film Pillion, which he has been promoting. The 48-year-old plays Ray, a biker gang leader, in the film, which made its debut to rave reviews at the festival, and he's been dressing in leather as an homage to his character. During a screening for the film on Sunday, Skarsgård smiled alongside his costars wearing a pair of leather Loewe trousers and matching motorcycle boots, a white vintage t-shirt and aviator sunglasses. He posed up a storm, showing off his leather ensemble much to the delight of many of his fans. 'I'm never getting over Alexander Skarsgard in leather pants, GOOD LORD,' one woman tweeted. At the premiere of Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning, Zoe Saldaña gave classic glamour an edgy twist by wearing an leather coat over the top of her sleek black Saint Laurent gown 'Alexander Skarsgård wearing leather pants for the premiere of his new queer film…I'm obsessed with this man, you don't understand,' another remarked. 'The one thing Alexander Skarsgård is going to do is play up the theme of his film on the red carpet,' someone added. Later that evening at the film The Phoenician Scheme's red carpet premiere, the actor upped the ante and wowed fans by pairing his sleek formal suit with a pair of Saint Laurent 'fetish' boots that went well up past his knees. The thigh-high boots with a loose fit and buckle detailing were a stark contrast to the dapper double-breasted tuxedo with silk lapels he styled them with. 'Alexander Skarsgård in these kinky Saint Laurent boots,' one fan commented online, and another wrote: 'Love a man in a thigh high.' And Skarsgård isn't the only one to jump aboard the 'fetish dressing' trend. Nicole Kidman donned an edgy Balenciaga leather corseted jacket as she was presented the 2025 Women In Motion Award during the film festival on Sunday. The A-lister looked incredible as she embodied 'motocore' style in the corset-style leather jacket, which she teamed with low-rise jeans and a chunky belt. At the premiere of Mission Impossible: The Final Reckoning, Zoe Saldaña gave classic glamour an edgy twist by wearing an oversized leather coat over the top of her sleek black Saint Laurent gown. Later that evening, the actor upped the ante and wowed fans by pairing his sleek formal suit with a pair of Saint Laurent 'fetish' boots that went well up past his knees She clutched the jacket so it sat below her shoulders while posing for and waving to the flurry of photographers alongside her husband, Marco Perego. Gabbriette brought out her inner spy at the Mission Impossible premiere, opting for a head-to-toe leather look. The model was oozing Gothic glamour as she wore a structured, floor-length black leather gown and chunky silver jewellery by brand Chrome Hearts. This year's Cannes jury president Juliette Binoche went for a Matrix-like leather look at the Trophee Chopard Dinner on Saturday. The French actress looked chic in the skin-tight off-shoulder dress with a front zip and thigh-high split. She wore latex-like boots under the dress and paired the rebellious look with a pair of black sunglasses. Other celebrities took a more subtle approach to 'fetish dressing'. At Sunday's The Phoenician premiere, Julianne Moore stunned in a simple Bottega Veneta dress with a risqué feature. The black sheath frock included one single strap made from strings of leather tied into a knot ,with its tassels not looking dissimilar to a whip. Gabbriette brought out her inner spy at the Mission Impossible premiere oozing Gothic glamour as she wore a structured, floor-length black leather gown and chunky silver jewellery The 'kinky' fashion fad comes after Cannes updated its dress code to ban 'nude dressing' just days before the festival was due to begin. According to organisers, the austere move is an attempt to stifle the celebrity trend for 'naked dresses' - namely provocative outfits that reveal considerably more than they conceal - on the red carpet. 'For decency reasons, nudity is prohibited on the red carpet, as well as any other area of the festival,' states a Cannes festival document. 'The festival welcoming teams will be obligated to prohibit red carpet access to anyone not respecting these rules.' The surprise new policy features in a recent festival-goers charter, released with a series of outlines regarding expected public behaviour. Guests are expected to converge on the Grand Auditorium Louis Lumière for some of the highest profile film screenings across a packed seven-day schedule in Cannes. It's understood that the iconic venue now adopts a more conservative dress code, with suits, dinner jackets, and floor-length evening gowns generally favoured over headline-grabbing ensembles. Classic little black dresses, cocktail dresses, pant-suits, dressy tops and elegant sandals, 'with or without a heel', will also be permitted. While the decision to implement a more stringent policy will be a first, it is not known if French TV broadcasters, wary of airing nudity, played a role in its enforcement. Major red carpet events, including the Cannes Film Festival, are aired in France by France Télévisions. Recently attracting more models and influencers than actors and filmmakers, the annual ceremony has seen an increase in risque red carpet fashion statements.
