‘Active recovery operation' underway on LaHave River in Bridgewater, N.S.
Police in Bridgewater, N.S., are asking people to avoid an area of the town due to an 'active recovery operation' on the LaHave River.
People are asked to avoid the King Street Court area.
Motorists are also encouraged to take alternate routes to avoid the King Street block between Dominion and Empire.
Police say there is no threat to the public and more information will be provided when possible.
EHS and the Bridgewater Fire Department are also at the scene.
