Israeli media reported on Tuesday that four soldiers were killed and 17 were injured in an ambush in Khan Yunis, some of whom were in critical condition. The Qassam Brigades, the military wing of the Hamas movement, published footage on Tuesday of an operation targeting Israeli soldiers and vehicles in the city of Khan Yunis, southern Gaza Strip. In that operation, the sniper targeted four soldiers standing on the balcony of a destroyed house, and Israeli helicopters were seen evacuating the wounded from the scene. The video also showed an attack on an armored personnel carrier in the same area, in cooperation with the al-Quds Brigades. A fighter emerged from directly beneath the vehicle and detonated an explosive device, killing and wounding a number of soldiers. The operation also involved targeting a building where 11 Israeli soldiers were holed up on June 15 in al-Qudayhat area of Abasan al-Kabira.
